I know I'm not typical Estate Sale goer, but I've been to a shocking number considering my age. Anyway, from a buyer's perspective, I like Bonnie's Vintage. Typically the sales are well organized, staffed by friendly people, and prices are easy to find. If you're going to be reselling your house and need to get rid of your stuff, I would recommend asking whatever company you go with to ask visitors to remove their shoes. A hassle for the salers, but beneficial for your carpeting. Another recommendation, don't sell anything with old photos, confirmation certificates, Boy Scout membership cards, etc. It's just depressing. See if anyone in your family wants it. Burn it, don't sell it. Make sure you have some men's stuff or at least your garage open. Then you'll get the couple's to come in because at least the men will have something to look at (tools, old equipment, house hold fix-it stuff). That's it, those are my thoughts.
