This was the second time I received service from Bolton Collision. Everyone was very helpful and explained everything that would occur both times. The repairs were done as they said they would be and all of the paperwork was in order. They arranged for a rental car to be dropped off and picked up. It was a great experience at a very uncomfortable time. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing collision repair.\r \r . more

It's never a good day when you have to go to a collision repair service. Luckily, these folks made the interaction as easy as possible. They took extra special care of my car (even going so far as to remove an extra dent in the rear bumper that was not related to the damage in the front!) Also, they gave me a discount and checked to see if they could help me with the carseats. I will definately be a return customer if I ever need repair work done again. Dave and his staff did an excellent job repairing my vehicle and went out of their way to make sure it was done right the first time. My vehicle was returned cleaner than when I bought it, thanks! However, it was Mary Ann who made my experience there simply wonderful. When I was having problems with the insurance company, she called them up and settled everything for me...more than once! She set up for the rental car to be waiting for me when I arrived to drop my vehicle for repair. And I simply left the rental there when I picked up my vehicle. Mary Ann was extremely friendly, and incredibly helpful. Should I ever need repair work in the future, there's no question about it. I won't go anywhere else, it's Bolton Collision Repair for me! I had my first major accident and my car was towed to Bolton Collision. Not knowing much about the process I was overwhelmed. Maryann was very professional and was available to answer alot of questions. As well when the adjuster came back with the estimate the owner, Dave took the time to explain every part to me. He also explained how you felt about refrubished part and used parts and understood my concern for use of those parts on my 2009 car. After agreeing to have the repair done at their shop, I was impressed with how prompt they were in contacting me when the repair was completed. What was even better was that Maryann was able to get ahold of my insurance company and speed up the payment process when I had failed to get ahold of them after multiple days' worth of attempts. When I went to actually pick up my car, it was amazing the condition of my car. As I said I have never been through a major accident before, I expected my car to look like a ""repaired car"". This was not the case. The car was spotless inside and out. Looked as good as the day I bought it brand new off the car lot. I was impressed. Bolton Collision was professional and patient through the whole process I would recommend them to anyone in the future requiring repair. more

Returning to Connecticut from my wedding shower at my mother's home in Virginia, I was struck by a car which was struck by a semi while waiting at a complete stop in traffic trying to cross over the GW in New York. The semi was traveling too fast around the bend and did not have enough time to stop when he realized the change in traffic conditions. Ironicly, there was no real reason for traffic to be completely stopped except for a van's inability to change lanes properly. more

On May 22, 2010 at 4:15 pm, my car was parked in front of the Federal Tax Bldg in Hartford Ct. I walked out of the bldg and found my car had been hit and totaled by someone driving and texting. The police had already been called and we're arriving on the scene. Being a 1st time crash victim I was clueless on how this all worked. I needed my car towed,stored, fixed or inspected who knows? All I know was a tow was step 1. I called Bolton Collision and Dave Wilson answered. He asked me where I was, I told him and the tow truck was there in 35 mins. That's from Bolton to downtown Hartford in peak traffic time! From that moment on I knew despite the facts 1 good thing came out of it. I know longer had to worry about the car. We have had a few experiences with Dave and the folks at Bolton Collision [unfortunately for us :-) ], the latest this past month. Each time Dave and his staff have been extremely accommodating and personable, a pleasure to work with in getting our vehicle back on the road. They handled all the insurance aspects, and made it easy for us to leave our vehicle and use their loaner. Each time our vehicle was returned earlier than promised, and in brand new condition. I recently avoided a head on collision with an inattentive driver that had crossed over into my lane. However, my van was struck on the drivers side. It was declared a ""Total"" by the insurance company but since I had puts lots of money into it recently it was agreed to repair it. Dave and the insurance adjuster came to a fair price , and the folks at the Bolton Collision repair shop did a fine job of repairing the entire drivers side of our van. I am happy with the quality of the work, I was treated courteously by everyone there and they kept in touch with me to let me know how things were progressing. Pros: Good quick service more

I have dealt with Bolton collission on three separate issues. First was bringing in my husbands car for a quote. He had collided with a deer and had no comprehensive insurance to cover any repairs. David looked at the vehicle, said it was unsafe to drive that the hood could fly up at anytime. He had his employees fix the hood to make is road worthy at no cost to me. Now that is an honest and caring business person. Second was when we were looking to buy a truck. The headlight had a paint mark on it and I wanted to know if the truck had had a paint job. Once again David checked the truck out for me and confirmed it had an extensive paint job. He didn't jsut tell me he showed me the areas and once agin no charge. The third time was when I was driving my car and colided with a deer. I took the car to Bolton Collision for an estimate. David met with the adjuster right at the shop. David worked directly with the adjuster and my insurance company. He offered me a loaner while my car was being fixed. I picked the car up a week and half later and I was very pleased with the body work they had done. I will highly recommend Bolton Collison, they are honest, curtious and very accomodating. On April 30th my niece was badly hurt in a car crash on Route 6. Her car- what was left of it was taken to Bolton Collision. At 12 midnight I drove there on my way back from the hospital to my home on Route 6. Her car was out front- keys still in ignition and battery still connected (the ding ding ding telling me keys in ignition sounding) IT was completely unsecured and the drivers door wide open. I reached in and grabbed her purse, and her keys. Her purse had her license, her ATM card, and other personal effects in it. Her keys also had her apartment keys. Anybody could have stolen them. Bolton Collision did nothing ot secure her car in their yard. When confronted the next day the owner was RUDE RUDE RUDE and extremely hostile, ordering me off his property. If you let Bolton Collision take your vehicle into its possession, be prepared to have your life stolenn. Had someone gotten ahold of her purse and keys, her apartment could have been burglarized, her bank account emptied and her identity stolen. That scumbag owner had nothing to say to that. My teenage daughter got in an accident with her 2001 Ford Taurus that severly damaged the front end. The repair shop the car was towed to quoted us over $5,000 to repair the car. I'd heard about Bolton Collision from a friend and deceided to call over there and see what they thought. They understood the problem (older car with very low miles, uninsured for collision) and offered to tow the car from the current place for free and inspect the car thensleves to give me a price to fix it (after determining if it was ""worth it"" to fix the car at all). Dave (the owner) said it was worth fixing and Iif i didn't have a problem using used parts and letting him take his time to find the right parts, he could save me money. Long story short (too late) he found the parts and did a beautiful job repairing the car. It actually drives better now than it did before and he saved me over $1,000! I had my 2004 Audi A4 repaired there as part of an insurance claim. I was concerned that the insurance company directed me here and thought....""oh boy"" here we go. I believe this is a family business with the owners working the front desk. The car wasn't driveable and they sent a ""hook"" to my house to pick the car up. No issues. Once the car arrived they provided me a cost quote and worked closely with Hoffman Audi and my Insurance company to replace a number of damaged parts. No issues. The rear window was shattered and also needed to be replaced. Multiple body panels needed to be painted and matched. Pros: Excellent work. Paint matched.
