Bohemian Garden Seafood-Stkhs

We went here with a 6:30 reservation, and were not seated until almost 7 pm. The reason we chose to eat here was because we called local places, and this particular one told us that they would make bearnaise sauce for our steaks. When we ordered it, we were told no, they are ""too busy"". When we asked to speak to the manager, he was also ""too busy"". For a meal for two of over one hundred dollars, this was completely unacceptable, and a waste of our time, since we could have gone somewhere else and been accomodated. The poor waitress felt terrible, and apologized profusely for something that wasn't even her fault. As for the food, the steak itself was good, but the breads were stale, the salad bland at best, and the sides were mediocre at best. An utter waste of money, and ruined what we thought would be a pleasant birthday dinner. Will never come back, would not recommend. THIS IS A HONEST REVIEW, I DO NOT KNOW HOW OTHERS SEE THIS RESTAURANT. THE AMBIENCE AND FOOD IS IN DISTRESS. THE BOOTHS ARE FALLING APART WE HAD TO MOVE TO A TABLE. SEATS HAD NO SPRINGS LEFT AND THE MATERIAL WAS TORN.. THE FOOD WAS TERRIBLE, I HAD A EGGPLANT THAT CAME OUT SOAKED IN OIL AND WAS UNEATABLE. THE SIDES WERE 50% UNEATABLE,THE BREAD BASKET, HAD SOME DANISH THAT WAS STALE.MY WIFE HAD A BEEF STEW THAT WAS BARELY EATABLE. SERVICE WAS FAIR BUT HAD TO ASK FOR WATER REFILL.. I found the Bohemian Garden to be a refreshing change from the 'chain' restaurants. The menu is extensive, offering fresh seafood, steaks, veal, plus daily specials. (the yellow tail snappper was fabulous) at reasonable prices. The dinner portions are hearty and include a selection of three side dishes. There is also a daily special menu and the Early Bird menu is offered until 6:30 daily. But most of all the atmosphere is very warm and friendly. It's like being a guest in their home. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occassion! It's wonderful for dinner or just a light snack or cocktail in the lounge. I'll be back often!
