Very nice waitstaff and excellent food.
Near-west restaurant on Monroe Street has off-street parking, which is very nice. The dinner menu is extensive and has lots of vegetarian options beyond the standard portabella sandwich.
The bread and butter served before the meal is delicious. Our group tried the meatloaf dinner, the peppercorn encrusted tuna dinner, the sweet potato quesadilla and the black cat quesadilla. All were deemed excellent by the diners, but the meatloaf won as a favorite.
Excellent prices - two dinners plus one side salad, two beers and a tip came out to $46, and the portions were very large.
Cannot wait to try out this restaurant again.
