YUMM!!!! Family Tradition... for the last 12 years :) 6/10/2010

Me and my family have gone here everytime we make a trip to the coast. It's kinda like a tradition to always visit Blackbeards. The food is great and the prices are not outragous. I HIGHLY recommend this resturaunt!! I have had the burrito's , salads and so much more!! The onion rings are fantastic too!!! I am headin to the coast in a couple of weeks with my husband, mom, nephew and brother ...... this is a MUST stop on our way to the coast. Pros: Amazing food and great atmosphere more

Food good, place a little dirty, stinky 4/26/2008

I have been to Blackbeards about a dozen times and food is good. The place is a bit of a mess and sometimes smells bad. Not sure maybe its just a north beach thing. The service is average. I have had burgers and seafood and both have been average. As it being the best seafood in town, its a far cry from that. The parking is a little rough. Its a good place to eat for lunch and if you are at the beach or staying at the local hotel, this would be the best place to eat near by. more

I have been to Blackbeards about a dozen times and food is good. The place is a bit of a mess and sometimes smells bad. Not sure maybe its just a north beach thing. The service is average. I have had burgers and seafood and both have been average. As it being the best seafood in town, its a far cry from that. The parking is a little rough. Its a good place to eat for lunch and if you are at the beach or staying at the local hotel, this would be the best place to eat near by. more

Best Seafood in Corpus Christi 4/9/2006

I am a resident of Corpus Christi and have eaten at many of the fine restaurants in our sparkling city. Blackbeards is by far the best seafood in town. I know that they serve mexican food but I'm not sure why someone would order it when you are in a fine seafood restaurant. Generally, unless you go to an authentic mexican restaurant (which we also have many of) you are going to get canned salsa, plain and simple! If you want great seafood, friendly staff and a loose beach atmosphere Blackbeards is for you! (PS. I always cut my enchiladas with a knife, regardless....) Pros: Food, Close to Beach, Downtown Cons: Parking more

This is the best seafood in town!!! They have a large variety ranging from delectible seafood of all kinds to mexican food and traditional all American cuisine. It is our favorite seafood restaraunt in all of Corpus Christi!!!!!!! more
