Meet your friends for lunch here! 8/16/2006

This is a great place to grab some soup and sandwich and just catch up or do a little networking for your business. The service is great, very friendly, and the yummy breads are great for a sandwich. My favorite? The Gobbler :-P Quaint and clean atmosphere. They can be busy, but I have not had a hard time getting in for an early or late lunch ever. I have made reservations for a large group before, and the BDB was very accommodating. more

Skip the restaurant and just go to the bakery 7/12/2006

I have tried the lunch and breakfasts and was very underwhelmed. The service is friendly but the food was mediocre. Nothing at all creative, and my omelete was just short of rubber surrounding a bland filling. Bread from the bakery is used for toast and that is good. Their cinnamon rolls are great! Other than that - skip the entrees as they are just ho-hum. Do stop in to the little gift shop in the other end of the building - it is not to be missed for one of a kind gifts. more

Wonderful - if your Patient 10/8/2005

Black Diamond Bakery puts on a wonderful breakfast. Meals are tasty and a good size for the price. Their lunch sandwiches are also good and made on bread baked fresh on the premises. Be prepared to wait as I have never been there when there wasn't a long line of folks waiting to be seated. This would be a five star establishment if there was more parking and the wait to get in wasn't so long. My advice is to go early! more

You'll need a reservation for weekend mornings! 9/20/2005

The Black Diamond bakery and restaurant is located in the small town of Black Diamond. It is definately worth a visit! It is a down-home style restaurant with generous portions. Their breakfasts are delicious, and they have good sandwiches on their lunch menu (no dinner offered). If you plan to visit on the weekend morning, make sure you have a reservation. more

Black Diamond Bakery is worth the drive! 9/8/2005

If you don't live near Black Diamond, it is definitely worth the drive to go out to eat at the Black Diamond Bakery. They have the best breakfasts and lunches and you can even bring home a loaf of bread or some goodies from the attached bakery. Everytime I have eaten here it has been busy. I have never had a bad meal here and plan to go again soon! more

Great Breakfast 8/12/2005

Enjoy a nice big tasty breakfast. If the weather is clear you can get views of Mount Rainier from the dining room. The food is excellent with large portions. Be prepared to wait on a Sunday morning or holiday as it fills up quickly. Check out the gift shops while waiting or sample a cookie or muffin from the bakery. There is plenty to do here. more
