Bistro Cacao on Capital Hill, is what you hope for in a restaurant, especailly on a nice evening (You can eat outside if you choose to do so!). The menu is as it would suggest, what one would find at a French Bistro, except that the "French" attitude is missing. One can start out with those French standards, such as escargot, frog legs, or a great beet salad, all priced under $8.00. The main courses, such a hanger steak, lamb chops, fresh fish (mahi-mahi, sea bass), are presented beautifully, and taste as good as they look. They are also priced beautifully, most around $22.00 and under. The deserts are as good as the rest of the menu. Wines are very fair. Go, as I cannot see how they can maintain their very fair prices.
