Billy's Restaurant

Good: The atmosphere was nice. Bad: Two of us were there on February 26, we both had the fish special. It was cold, greasy and over $18 for some fish sticks and cold greasy fries. The parking lot was horrible to try to get out of!. Improvements: Better customer service from our waitress, better food values, I really don't think McDonalds would've served that!. Other: I wrote a note to the Management regarding our visit, our "service" and the tight parking. I included my name, address and phone number and didn't even get the courtesy of a reply!. more

The food was fabulous and service exceptional. I would highly recommend dining at Billy's. Chef Nader's turned this historical home into a fine dining treasure. more

Billy's Restaurant is located across the street from the Capital Building in Lincoln. The restaurant actually looks like a house. In the back lot, there is parking for members of the Senate so it is obviously a finer dining establishment. Service is top-notch in this place. Food is served on china with stemmed glasses for water. They do offer a full bar. I had a Malibu Rum drink and it certainly tasted like it was served with quality ingredients. The Tomato Soup was a bisque and had little shrimp in it. I also had the Seafood Lover's Delight... but there were only a handful of shrimp, scallops and crab claws. Overall, an amazing (and affordable) meal. For both my husband and I, the meal was under $50. Considering what we ordered and the service that was offered, this was a great deal. more
