Bihari Kennels

I have been going to Bihari Kennels since 1993. I first went with one of my dogs but then found out that they boarded cats. Other places would not board my cat because she was too old and they wanted a temperament test. When I take my cats to get boarded there, they always brush them. That is so nice and not even part of the boarding. My mom died recently and they sent flowers to the wake. They were also there for me when I had to take in my mothers dog. They socialized her with my other dog. The facilities are always immaculate. These people really love animals. They know every animal there. Mr. Bihari is always there if you have a concern. During grooming they also pay attention to anything that may be wrong with your animal like if there is a bump or something like that. They check them from head to toe. I highly recommend them. more

Bihari Kennels is a life saver, I'm blessed to have them! From the minute I called them, to the first weekend they hosted my puppy, they've been wonderful. They gave me their cell phone, sent me video, answered their phone, and I felt like I was taking my baby to the babysitter. Anytime I had a question or a thought, they answered it. I have used this facility for about 20 years to board our dogs and cats. We use their grooming facilities and there is no other place that can hold a candle to this place. When your dog leaves from grooming, you could enter them in to a dog show. Our dogs always found Bihari a fun as well as a relaxing place to go. If you saw our dog, Myles, when he is at Bihari you can tell he has had interaction with all staff members and it was totally positive. He tries his best to hug each member when he arrives. There is truly no other place like Bihari Kennel. You and your pet are always treated with the utmost respect and care. A couple years ago, I boarded my Rottweiler there. They seemed nice and there location is convenient, even for people who live in NJ. My dog did fine there. The owner, Joe is conscientious about his boarders. As a vet tech at a NJ hospital, Joe has brought in a clients dog after trying to get it to eat with no avail. When I had my dog boarded there, he was leaving to bring a dog to an animal hospital for vomiting. I think it's important to use a company that is family run, they take pride in what they do. more
