Dont listen to any of these clowns below. The Bicycle Shoppe on Meeting is great. I have lived here for 7 years during college and post-college and have always taken my bike there for repairs, maintenance, etc. They are cool guys, always willing to help, get free air for your tires, whatever. It is a smaller shop, so you may not have the best selection, but for a downtown location, it has what you need. I got a full tune up and brand new components and gear shifts on my crappy factory Jamis mountain bike. They started the tune up right away because my bike is my main form of transportation, and did a great job. Support your local, original Bike Shoppe. You will feel better, and will not regret it. Very, very unprofessional. I ride daily and am new to Charleston, so I thought i woud check this place out. The stuff could not have cared less about anything. It took me asking 3 different people for someone to finally help me. Even then he was more interested in his lunch than my questions. Do yourself a favor shop elsewhere!
