We took my daughter's Band jacket in to have two patches sewn on. We were very specific with exactly where and how the patches were to be placed. We were told this would require extra work and would cost more. I agreed with this and left the jacket, understanding it would be ready in about a week. True enough, the jacket was ready in a week. Unfortunately the patches were not placed as directed. Our first problem was getting the clerk to understand what was wrong. Her solution was to remove them and resew them correctly. This being leather that was going to leave visible holes in the jacket. Problem number two was trying to explain this to the lady. Finally she called the manager or owner or something to ask for direction. That failed completely as, not understanding our concerns, she could not explain the problem over the phone. I was given the phone to try and was immediately told ""I'm in Washington, DC, can you come back later?"". As I travel for business this was not an option. Either I could not get the problem across or the lady was too busy being in Washington to care, we could not get any solution out of the lady. So we have a jacket with the patches in the wrong place and nothing to do about it. And, as far as I can tell, the store either doesn't get it or doesn't care. Maybe both.
