Excellent Class 9/22/2009

Dr. Hung is an excellent teacher who is clearly skilled and knowledgable. I received individualized attention addressing my own specific concerns. I plan on returning to Dr. Hung's classes whenever she is in the Dallas area! Pros: Extremely comprehensive more

Great Classes with professionals! 5/12/2009

In 2007, I took a two-day course from Better Health & Therapy. Their presentations were superb! Their materials were organized, well prepared, thorough and professional. On April 19, 2009, I attended another class offered by Dr. Hung in San Antonio. It was equally excellent. One of the things I appreciate most about their presentations is that they teach us to deal not only with the symptom but also the root cause of the problems we face as Massage Therapists. I like their inclusion of Eastern Holistic Health. I would highly recommend Dr. Hung as a teacher and therapist. Pros: Excellent presentations, Superb Presenters! more

CE Reflexology for Foot Massage 3/24/2009

The instructor was a master at her craft who teaches in a witty and cutting edge style. The materials, demonstrations, hands-on practice along with the instructors wisdom, knowledge, and skill made this an extremely exciting class. I left after 6 hours feeling confident and ready to use the new techniques I learned . I highly recommend this school for all massage needs and cant wait to return for more. Pros: Instructor/Demonstrations/Hands-on more

Amazing healing without side affects 3/5/2009

This is one of the most comprehensive massage training classes I have attended. It is very obvious that Dr Hung is very well versed in Eastern Holistic medicine and has knowledge of western medicine. I have travelled to China and experienced their healing methods and I find it to be much more beneficial with no side affects in comparison to medication prescribed in America and band aid methods used here. One has to experience the total healing to appreciate its benefits more

Organized, Informative, Excellent Instruction, Reasonably Priced, Concerned Professionals 3/2/2009

I have attended the sessions of this CEU provider (BHT) on more than one occasion. I like it when an instructor is on time, organized, professional, informative as well as caring. I did not find anything confusing about the class and understood exactly what I would be learning in the course. I was especially pleased with the instructor because she really shows a love for the massage therapy field and stresses proper education and instruction. I have been to other CEU courses in and around the Houston area and have been displeased with some of the instructors especially when they are allowing students to be lazy and or disruptive during a class. That type of behavior prevents students who are serious about the subject from getting all they could out of a class. Some instructors appear to have limited knowledge of what they are teaching and in some cases, I find that I know more about the subject matter then they do. I have not had that problem with this CEU provider and enjoy her instruction and manner of operation. Printed materials were provided for each of the classes that I attended but what is MOST valuable and beneficial is the hands-on instruction and practice that I received. You are not only able to read about the subject but also physically practice it. I highly recommend this CEU provider. If you are hoping to go to a CEU class and not have to do much work and just sit back and relax, then you will not be pleased with this provider. This provider expects you to make an honest effort to pay attention, learn and walk away with new tools and encourages you to use them in your therapeutic profession. Once again, I am very pleased with this CEU provider and will attend future classes of interest. Pros: Informative, location, organized, econimical Cons: parking more

Very strange organization. 3/4/2008

As I am a licensed massage therapist in Texas, I get post cards for Continue Education classes all year around. I got a post card from them last year and called to ask about their course that I was interested in taking (they're really cheap). Well, the person who answered the phone was very rude and had no information whatsoever. He could not speak English very well and I could tell he was frustrated because I was asking him many questions (not to mention I am a US citizen so I do have an accent but also have some patience!). I called one more time later and this time he/she hang up on me! So I ended up taking classes somewhere else. I got the post card this year again.. it went straight to trash... Sorry. I'm curious about the quality of their classes. If you've ever taken their classes, please leave me a review. more

Rude & Assuming Continuing Education Provider for Massage Therapists 1/17/2008

Watch out! They advertise under fraudulent MI# 01874. It belongs to a social worker not a massage therapist. more
