Bertera Automobile & Truck

I purchased a car from Bertera and brought it back to them twice WITHIN 30 days. Each time they said nothing was wrong with it and told me to bring it to Toyota, ""they would say the same thing"". So I brought it to Toyota and at the time I brought it to them it went over 30 days. It turns out the car needed a new engine. I was stuck dealing with a lawyer for a year and had to get another reliable car to drive in the mean time. After a year of dealing with a lawyer I only got $1000 while the new engine cost me $6000. I had to save up enough money to replace the engine and at the same time pay two car payments and insurance on both cars. Another year went by and I was still not able to sell the car by itself so I had to trade both of my cars in for one car. Now, years later I'm basically still paying for two cars due to all of the negative equity, and will be until my car is paid off. Do not buy from Bertera, they ruined my life. more

I called originally for a cheaper car, and was ""assured"" it was there and waiting by Victor. I drove 2 damn hours and get there and they don't have it. But obv. they have a more expensive one and urge me to test drive it. I say what the hell, I just drove two hours and might as well. I liked it so much I bought the car there, but later found out I was totally ripped off on the price. The salesmen was full of it in terms of a ""deal."" They sold me extra insurance and didn't explain until the end that I had to come for oil changes only there to maintain the warranty. I live two hours away... On top of that their service sucks. Took them over an hour every time to change my oil. Come on, I can change my own oil in about 10 minutes.... Also notice if you ever go there, there are no prices on the cars, that's because they want to cheat you on blue book. He even had the nerve to tell my carfax was down, I later checked myself and the car was just fine, but talk about sleezey people. Make a long story short, I traded the car, cut my losses and will never recommend this dealership ever. more

I went to Bertera Auto Body, after an accident, and was given misinformation on the status of my car from the beginning. Any time that I would call to check on the status, I was treated with disrespect. When my vehicle was finally finished, (two weeks after the promise date), they never called me, lucky I called to check the status, again. Since getting the vehicle back I have made several return trips due to a lack of heat in the vehicle.
