Bellfort Animal Hospital

This animal clinic may not be in the best part of town and the building may be ancient and rundown BUT I have never had a lick of trouble or dissastisfaction with them. Dr. McCreary has always been upfront and saves us quite a bit of money on our 3 dogs by not performing unnecessary testing. The staff may not be all warm & fuzzy 100% of the time but I don't go there for the warm fuzzies (and my dogs sure don't give a crap about that) - I go there for great and affordable vet care. more

I have filled out a application there and after I handed it to Shawl or whatever she asked me how long i worked at the pervious clinic in which I responded 6 months she jotted it down and then asked me if I speak spanish if which i said No and was basically ""You dont know spanish"" just cause im hispanic does mean i sholud know spanish but anyway I left. A couple of days i received a call from her to see if i wanted to work so i got in my scrubs and went over there, when I arrived i told her who i was and puled out my application then she asked you worked for the other clinic for a year and you know spanish and I was like no didnt i tell you this when i filled the application so she said i have to talk to the vet and came back oh we dont need you in a bitchy way like it was my fault I left. so when you fill out a application make sure she gets your information correct before she calls you up thinking something else. The doctor is not a very good doctor he looks as if he is on some kind of medication and he is very slow, because i brougt my pet in because she had tumors and the doctor did surgery on her and sent her home the next day and a few days went by and the dog was not doing any better and developed and infection and i took her back and the vet was not in so i got sent to another vet close by ,and that vet said that the vet didnt do his sergery right so my dog had 3 other sergerie to correct that one doctor mistake. Pros: they had a good staff Cons: the vet wasnt doing his job right more

The staff is caring, warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Charges are the most reasonable I've seen, especailly given the professional level of care. I reccomend them highly. Pros: Great vet and staff who are truly passionate about animal care Cons: Not the best neighborhood in town - but I've never had a problem from anyone more
