Great salon! I went there with my wife for a semi-annual makeover (at my wife's request, go figure!). We were referred to one of their top stylists, MYTSY LIAW, by one of our good friends. She took care of the both of us and did an incredible job of updating my hair from a circa early 2000's ""spiked up Ceaser style"" hair cut to a more modern look. \r
\r
I think what differentiates MYTSY from the many other high end stylists I've been to is her methodical approach to personalized advice and suggestions based on the shape of my head, hair texture and facial characteristics to come up with a number of styling options. Her attention and care to details as well as her entertainment and fashion industry experience is what I believe sets her apart from many of the other leading stylists in Beverly Hills.\r
\r
Oh yeah, I forgot... my wife got some nice highlights and a beautiful new hair style too. She also had her manicure and pedicure from their in-house ""nailist"", MEGUMI, who was trained in the delicate art of nail design from Japan. Who knew? MEGUMI did an amazing and tasteful job with surgical precision and without accidentally nicking or cutting my wife's delicate cuticles which often happens at other places according to my wife. But enough about my wife... did I mention that my hair style looked awesome?! Not to be totally vain and narcissistic but I swear the celebs, agents and managers that frequent the hotel where the salon is located were checking me out! I was like, ""please, please... no flash photography."" Just kidding. \r
\r
MYTSY also recommended this line of hair care products I had never heard of called Kerastasse aka the ""sta-saaay"". It's a little on the pricey side but the stuff really works so I guess its good value. I should also mention that MYTSY is a riot to have a conversation with and yet is so professional. Go to MYTSY and MEGUMI, tell her I sent you, get a great looking head of hair and wonderful customer service.\r
Pros: Great attention to detail and customer service
Cons: By appointment only, no walk-ins unless you're a celebrity
