I was charged $617 for finding and repairing two AC wires chewed by a mouse. \r I went the shop for AC service based on the recommendation here. When I dropped my car, they gave estimation of $125 and needed to call me if above that. Two hours later, I got a call and was told the cost would be around $300. Another hour later, I was told the cost would be $600+. When I got the bill, the parts cost about $30 and the labor cost near $600, which is too high from my gut feeling. more
