Overpriced merchandise, untruthful salespeople, misleading delivery windows, computers that are always down - terrible, horrible store. Go to Babies'R'Us or anyplace else. I'll never set foot in there again no matter how many grandchildren I have. more

My dresser changer and crib were ordered and paid for right before my baby shower which was exactly two months before my son was born. He is 7 weeks old tomorrow and I just got a call that the dresser is in now but nothing else. They told me a million times it would all b in by august 30th..the normal 6 to 8 weeks. It is now october 22nd! ITS ACTUALLY COMICAL NOW! Almost 2 months after the date they said it would b in!!! 2 months late!!! Im always a pushover so for me to be mad is very unusual!!! Im returning all the furniture!!! Refuse to buy from there ever again. more

You can obviously tell from this reviews on this page which ones are fake and may even be written by the company itself; and the real reviews by pissed off parents. This place ruins your whole experience of having a perfect first child experience with poor excuses, poor quality, poor service, poor products, absurd waiting period, and outrageous pricing. I can't even begin to write the experience iv had. Just know I'm very ontop of preparing for my child and done everything I can to make this new phase of my life as smooth and easy as possible. Iv succeeded in doing that other than this horrible store. Ordered in August still waiting given every excuse from this place. It's sad something so magical and fun has to be ruined by scammers and theifs. Never again will I go to this place... Can't wait to never have to deal with them again. more

I really had a great experience w behrs. We bought 2 captains beds with drawers underneath, 4 years apart. The price difference over 4 years was only $60 more. The beds are excellent quality and have taken a of abuse. The ordering process was easy, kids were made feel welcome in the showroom. The mattresses came in 2 weeks ahead of the bed each time. Beds were delivered on dates as promised and were set up by professionals. The guys were quick and clean. We loved dealing w the staff at behrs and would recommend it to others. more

We purchased beautiful expensive newborn furniture. Great in store service. Problem was once we received the furniture. Delivery was set up and once delivered I noticed that the bottom part of the dresser was chipped. I called the manager right away while the delivery guys were still here. He gave me a very small credit after having spent thousands on the furniture. A few weeks later while we were getting the room ready for the baby, we noticed that one of the drawers was broken. Now, a week before my due date, I am stressed that I have to call them and set up another service, and I don't know if they will even be willing to fix it. I am really disappointed. We spent thousands on just a few pieces of furniture and paid a premium for delivery as our home is farther from the store. I was expecting more superior service. more

We purchased a tent bed wich my daughter fell in love with. The bed took longer than expected ,finally came in . I picked up the bed brought it home to my 4 year old daughter .we built the bed that night only to find out it was missing pieces necessary to attach the tent the reason why my daughter wanted this bed.I called the store they told me to call back when John was in when I finally got in touch with John he told me we didn't order the pieces that the tent attached to he said he had revered talking to my wife and she said we didn't need those pieces , kinda funny cause she never even talked to him the day we ordered the bed . Unless he slipped her his number when I wasn't looking lol the guy is full of it .however I had to order these pieces cause they weren't included they were an extra $170.00 as per John kinda funny cause we ordered a tent bed that came with the tent but no wood to attach it, so today three months later my wife called them to tell them that the tent was coming apart from the seams in the stitching and John tells her this is not under warranty only the hardware is under warranty it's a freakin bed there is no hardware what are the screws under warranty this is bullish-- How could they not stand behind a product they sell.very disappointed and will not recommend anyone . As a business owner that relies on recommendations I don't know how they stay in business more

I never write reviews but this place is such a sham I HAD to. We have two homes and bought TWO sets of furniture here and the manager JOHN lied about both sets. Both were delayed-one got discontinued and we had to buy a more expensive set bc they wouldn't match the price. The other was missing pieces, on the boat, then destroyed in a flood allegedly. John told us to come back to get items on sale that were not when we got there...horrible. We didn't get our second set until my daughter was 5 mos old. The service is terrible-a different number for deliveries, store, warehouse and everyone is a story teller. The only people who do their jobs the right way are the ppl who set up the cribs and deliver-they should run the store and answer the phones. more

I am a recent Grandmother who went to Behrs furniture to purchase baby furniture for my grandchild. The service was wonderful. I entered the store and was able to walk around and check out all the displays of furniture before being approached by a sales person. They introduced themselves when I entered and then let us do our shopping. After making some decisions the sales person was there to answer any questions we had. They were courteous and helpful. The prices were comparable or even a slight bit cheaper that there competitors. We purchased a complete crib ensemble with 2 dressers and the making of the a full size bed when my Grandson grows up. The delivery was within time of his birth and the installation of the crib was done very quickly and neatly. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is interested in purchasing children's furniture. more

legal_eagle72 : BEWARE!!! DONT EVER BUY FURNITURE HERE!!! We ordered our furniture 6 months in advance wanting to make sure we received our furniture well before my wife gave birth. We only received part of our order weeks before giving birth. The manager, John, then assured us we would have our furniture soon and said this never happens. " It is on the ocean" he said. Apparantly this furniture is shipped from overseas. Later found out it is a lie. After speaking with a few other people that ordered from Behr's that this apparantly happens all the time! After repeatedly calling and harassing them to find out the status of the order. Speaking to my attorney and threatening to sue them!! Finally, **(9 months later)**, we finally received the remaining pieces of our baby furniture. My wife was changing the baby on our dining room table and on the floor because we were missing the changing table. The furniture is made like garbage. One piece was all scratched!! Didn't even want to send it back or complain. Who knows when we would have gotten a new one. This was a nightmare dealing with this company. Poor customer service, lying about shipment dates, and paying top dollar for crappy furniture! BUYER BEWARE! This is your WARNING! more

Their furniture is very expensive and is not any better quality. The first time we went there were 3 sales people standing around and we couldn't get any of them to actually help us. Then it took a ridiculous amount of time to get the furniture delivered (16 weeks I think). The dresser I bought was not assembled properly, so every drawer sticks out a different amount than the others. Then, they leave the boxes on your driveway!!!! It's a massive box, larger than a refrigerator box. It's hard to cut up, has massive pieces of stirofoam, and a wooden skid in the bottom. And the garbage men won't take any of this! I spent hours trying to get rid of this huge box, when Berhs should have just taken it with them in the first place. I'm completely unsatisfied with my experience at Behrs. more

First of all the only reason why I am even giving them 1 star is because you can't give 0. I purchased a $4000 set from Behrs furniture this summer. The set came several weeks later with scratches, dings, split wood and some pieces weren't even painted. I immediately called the manager who said he would call the company and replace the entire set but it would take several weeks to get the replacement pieces in. Last week the replacement pieces came in and it was exactly the same problem. My baby is due in less than 10 days and now I have to go to a different store to order new furniture. more

the selection and sales staf were great. after having the furniture for almost a year i found the draws were not working right on the dresser we had we called and 2 days later they came over and fixed it. we were impressed more

My husband and I HIGHLY recommend shopping at Behr's. The selection is almost overwhelming, but the salesman really pointed us in the right direction. The furniture arrived on time and even the delivery people were awesome. Great experience! more

The wait time for furnitre delivery is absurd. I went there with what I thought was AMPLE time before my baby arrived, and was told delivery will take 12 weeks. Well, guess what - after 16 weeks, one piece was STILL not in, so I insisted on delivery without the piece and said I would go pick it up myself once it arrived. After waiting for the furniture in the four hour delivery window they give you (and don't ask them to call your cell phone when they are close, because they say they don't have a "system" for that - SERIOUSLY?!?!), my furniture arrived - and it was WRONG!!!!! When I called, they said they wrote the wrong item number on the receipt and then questioned why I DID NOT NOTICE IT! Are you kidding me? I guess their customers should be well versed in order codes and numbers before coming to the store. They tried to make it our fault, claiming that their salesperson has been there for 30 years, blah, blah, blah. Finally they ordered the right piece and told me it will be here in 2 weeks. Guess what - 2 weeks have gone by and still no furniture. My baby was born and I have to leave his clothes in plastic bags because I have no dresser. I will never ever recommend this place to anyone and hope other parents dont make the mistake of going to this ridiculous store!!!! It's not worth the extra stress!!!!!! more

We ordered an upholstered chair the second week of October. It is now over 20 weeks from our order date and have yet to receive the chair!!! The only reason we have any additional information is because we called the store to follow up. It took them over a week to get back to us and no manager has reached out to us at all. They have offered us nothing!!! more

I bought my baby furniture two years ago and spent alot of money on it. The quality is poor the finish on it wears away very fast. I called the service dept twice and said there is nothing they can do about it, they like to take your money but don't like to fix when there is a problem. My set looks like it it 20 years old and now I have to call a furniture doctor to come in and fix it. I tell people becareful when you buy there the product may look nice and be expensive but is not good quality. more

If you can afford it one of the fun things about starting a family is selecting beautiful and useful things for your baby. Behr's has been doing this for years and stocks a great selection of furniture accessories and toys to make your dream nursery a reality. The sales staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Many pieces can go from being appropriate from infant use to small child use so that your investment lasts longer. more
