Dollar General is a great store to stop in and see what your .50 cents can buy. I have gotten tensile and candles here. On occasion I have also picked up some very good cookies. These cookie has no brand name they are just a generic brand of cookie and they are good. I like to buy a few boxes of these cookies. They stay fresh a good long while. They also have little statues that are marked down. Some of their toys will also be marked down. Don't forget this store in your travels. Just because it is not a big well advertised store doesn't mean you can not get some good deals here. Last year I picked up Christmas wrap here. The square kind of wrap not the wound ones. They also have the rolls of Christmas wrap and it will be half price starting December 26. This store has a nice parking lot. They however, do not have a lot of employees. This means that you more than likely will not get help if you can't find something. However, if the price is right I will look for the item myself.
