You have seen the comercial about Tax Cut. The one where the customer is being asked questions by the accountant and the customer realizes that the he can answer the questions himself based on the computer program the accountant is using so he turns the computer toward himself and proceeds to do his own tax return! That's campbell business services. We had our taxes done last year which I did most of the work on. Last year was slightly more complicated than this year, we were charged $275.00. This year, I did ""all"" the work, we sat in their office for approximately 1 hour(most of which was idol chit chat) We were not offered any ideas about what we could perhaps write off in addition to what we were already writing off. Isn't that what a tax man is supposed to do-give advise on how to cut your taxes? NOT this guy. I did all the work and he plugged in the numbers right in front of us. We owed the IRS so we decided to wait to file. When we were ready to file, it was sprung on us that we would this year be charged $300.00. For What?!!!!!!! Me doing the work? I'll NEVER use Campbell Business Services again! We use to use Deboer. Now there's a guy with ways to cut your taxes. He gave us serveral options and only charged $150.00 for his excellent service! Along with bad service and expensive service I was treated rudely. I caught a mistake on our first years taxes, so I called up to let them know. Boy was that a mistake, because he yelled at me and said ""if you don't like the way I do taxes,you can go elcewhere!"" So, I will.
