Beach Auto Sales

The last time I was shopping for cars was back in 2006. I was shocked to find a car I had always wanted, a Lexus SC 400, in my price range. I was told up front that this was a salvage title, that the car had been stolen, the owner's insurance paid out and then the car was recovered, all of which I was okay with. What I am NOT okay with is the shock I got once I received the pink slip today. The car was listed, in writing and on my contract, as having only 94,321 miles on it. In the past 5 years I've only pushed that to 124 thousand and change. The pink slip, however, tells me that at the time of purchase, my impulse buy really had 174,069 miles on it pushing the total to now over 200 thousand miles. Knowing that my car was 17 years old, I knew things would start going wrong. Being lied to for the grand total of almost 80,000 miles and the accompanying missed services made things so much worse. Since my job situation has worsened and my credit too, I needed all the trade-in value I could get and that trade-in value is now almost non-existent. I accept that I needed to have checked things out more. My bad. But do you really want to trust a dealership that rolls back odometers? more

This lady is an illegal immigrant trying to get free money from the dealer, which is an honest person. He has been in the same location in Ocean Beach for 12 years. He is a very lovely person and he is a member of the better business orginazation. He has a long list of a satisfied customers and very cheap cars. I told him about this complaint and he showed me a letter sent to the better business orginazation of offering to buy back the car, which is only $5000, for the 2000 Honda civic EX which market value is that of $8000. I bought 3 cars from this dealer so far in the past 5 years for my family and me and I had no major problems with all of the cars. All what I want to say to this fraudulent woman is: go back to your country lady, and take your trash over there. Pros: The cars are cheap, yet they still come with a free warranty! Cons: I really couldn't find anything bad with the business. more

Ill be brief; I looked at a car on his lot. He said 'no accidents, everything works'. I buy the car. Things start showing up that DONT work, or dont even EXIST on the car (no washer reservoir, no horn, no turning signal). I take it to my mechanic; he assures me there WAS a major accident. He shows me the parts affected. I buy a carfax. It clarifies an insurance co had it last. Also shows odometer fraud. I was lied to. I tell him. He starts treating me terribly. He has # to find out history; wont give it to me though. He takes my car with intentions of fixing safety features that were lacking. I went to get car; keys left in ignition and no one on lot. We call him & he comes back. He tells me never to come back b/c he didnt make enough profit off me & 'its about the money'. I drive my car away to find that the problems were not fixed properly. I researched & found it is illegal to sell car without safety features working. I am in the process of filing complaints to different agencies. Please stay away!! Cons: They only buy salvaged vehicles I found out. You wont get a good car here. Owner is beyond rude. more
