After receiving less than stellar service my first time here (part was locked in a mechanic's car who called in sick for 2 days, leaving me without a car for 4 days), I used Bavarian again when my car starting making a sound like I was driving a riding lawnmower. \r \r I was advised, after the shop had my car for 2 days before Thanksgiving, that there were 2 problems needing to be fixed, and that one was more important than the other. \r \r My car broke down completely 2 days after picking it up from this shop. \r \r Now, they claim that the issue they told me wasn't pressing is why my car is now almost beyond repair. Also, they claim to have no knowledge of ever telling me that this problem could wait 4 to 6 weeks to be fixed. \r \r I'm having to have my car towed to another mechanic to be looked at and am having to seek legal recourse. I am extremely disappointed to have trusted my car's care to this shop, and am now car-less because of it. more

After bad experiences at Nally I met Mike Lembcke-owner of Bavarian Imports at a car show. We talked about my troubles and he suggested I stop by his shop for him to check out my 1990 BMW 735 ( Edna Mae ). Reluctantly I drove 30 mile to visit Bavarian Imports. The service was fast, competitively priced with the highest quality of work I have ever experienced. His entire staff is honest and trust worthy. I love these guys and I will never let anyone else service my 1990 Edna Mae. They also serve a great cup of coffee. more

I ended up not needing their services but I did converse with them and Derrick (sp?) is incredibly gregarious and helpful. I typically 'go with my gut' on these things and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. more

I wanted to use Bavarian imports because of a reccomendation from a co-worker, when I got to Bavarian Imports and opened the front door, the smell of marijuana was so strong I almost choked. I chose to try another shop. more

All I can say is that everytime I go to Bavarian they are always very personable and true to their work!! Mike the owner is very honest and not your typical car place that will take advantage of you...I have been taking my 330ci to them for a few years now and they always look out for me and make sure it is nice and clean with their complimentary car wash;) Derrick runs the front and if you have to wait, you will not be bored...He is very personable and great at what he does! I've taken my 2001 530i to this shop for the past two years. I was about to sell the vehicle because of an oil leak that a local dealer was not able to fix after at least 3 visits and several hundred dollars. Mike and his staff were able to identify the problem quickly and repair it flawlessly. I've taken the vehicle back for everything from repairs, brakes, and oil changes. I won't anyone else touch the car! I drive at least 45 miles past at least two dealerships to take my car to this garage. I've always been treated fairly by Mike and his staff. Excellent job! more

Bavarian Imports Is By Far the best BMW German Auto Repair Shop In Atlanta. Derrick is very friendly and helpful. I think they must have too many customers. I have now had my car at their shop for 3 days now and not one person has looked at it. The car has not moved. This is after the owner of the shop(Mike) assured me that he personally would look at it the very first thing when he arrived this morning. Nothing. I will have to find yet another mechanic to try to help me. Very unfortunate that you try to support the businesses in your neighborhood and they don't support you. more

I'm very picky about who I take my 528i to and after several people in town told me about Bavarian, I thought I'd give them a shot. Mike the owner took the time to get to know me and his entire crew were awesome. They never tried to pressure me into doing anything other than what needed to be fixed. I took my 2004 325i BMW car to Bavarian Imports to get a cam shaft sensor repaired on my automobile. They repaired the problem, but when I got it back my setting for the seats were different. They were reset to a much taller person and the window control was not in the driver's position. I thought the mechanic probably adjusted them. However, when I attempted to reset them the mirrors weren't working. I called the service manager and he asked that we bring it in. The service manager who just yesterday was reassuring was already defensive and nervous. They immediately said they did nothing to the car and all of a sudden they could not find the problem. He went from maybe the fuse to its the computer and it would take 2 hours to find the problem. Really? It didn't take them that long to find the cam shaft and coil problem. Now all of a sudden my computer module is blocked. All I know is when I delivered it to them it was working and when I went to pick it up it wasn't. The owner of the auto shop refused to even talk to us. Before this incident, I had just paid them $450 for the cam shaft plus an additional problem they diagnosed. Because of this incident I now feel suspicious about their find. Stay away from this company. more

I go out of my way for service there to receive seemingly favored treatment and special attention where they know your car and have solved some inconvenient matters that always occur when you least expect ...too bad the dealer can't match price or service (or 1st fix rate)?...mike and robbie have saved my butt (BMW 540I or Benz E420) several times! Mike, the owner, is always available and personally involved in customer satisfaction. He helped me find my M5 in 2000 and I've been taking both my M5 and E320 to Bavarian Imports for 10 years. Most patrons seem to be long term recurring customers and use Bavarian for both service and TireRack installation (as I do). Free car washes a big bonus. I recently brought my '97 6spd 540i in for routine service to Bavarian Imports. Mike (owner) gave me a courtesy ride to my office, then brought me back to the shop after the work was finished on the car. I took my BMW to Bavarian when my clutch starting slipping and the dealership told me that I needed to replace the entire transmission and gave me a a quote that brought me to tears. Mike, the owner, was very friendly, funny and attentive. It turned out that they just needed to make some minor adjustments.
