Great store near other shops 5/29/2005

This Barnes and Noble stores is located in the Market Commons shopping center in N. Arlington. It is located a few blocks east of the Clarendon Metro. There are many other shops near it, so it is very conveniently located for everything. The children's activities are great...summer reading program and Harry Potter book release parties. more

This store is your ideal Barnes & Noble. It is filled with exciting weekly activities, as well as new enjoyable books. I visit this store when I need peace and quiet , to rest and ease my soul. The atmosphere is great!!!! more

Good Book Store in Arlingon 5/11/2005

I like this Barnes & Noble also. It's conveniently located: close to Clarendon Metro and there's also plenty of parking on the street or in lots nearby. The store is larger than the one in DC, better organized, and the staff is pretty helpful. They have what you'd expect. For hard-to-find titles, you may be better going elsewhere or ordering online. PROS: Location, Large Store CONS: Run-of-the-Mill Stock more

Books, Books, & More Books 5/6/2005

I have been to many bookstores, but this Barnes & Nobles is my one of my favorites. And being one of my favs is not an easy feat because I am an avid book reader. But when it comes to customer service and book options, this place can't be beat. The employees are friendly and helpful. If they don't know how to help you, they will get someone who does. They offer many various discussion groups, such as poetry and book clubs. And for you family types out there, they have an impressive kid's section full of the newest (and oldest) children's books. I can easily spend the entire night here paging thorough books and sipping coffee in the Starbucks Cafe section. Good thing they are open until 11:00 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. more
