Great place to shop! I discovered this store a few years ago when I had my second child and I wish I would have known about it sooner! This is where I now go for children's clothes either for my own or my friend's children as presents. I always find special pieces that I never see in other stores. Highly recommend this place for those looking for children's clothes and furniture! more

I absolutely LOVED the crib we just bought for our baby to come. I can't believe the crib we got and for the price we got it for! It's gorgeous! and we got sheets and lots of extra goodies. I like that this store has so many different things than babie's r us. I don't want to have the same stuff everyone else has. more

My Wife & I had Ordered Furniture From Baby town, Had No Problems whatsoever. Actually The Furniture We Had Ordered Came Early, & Our 9 Year Old Had A New Full Bed & 5 Dr. chest While we reused Her crib (Which We Also Purchased From Baby Town Years Ago) For our Newest Addition... They Have The Best Selection! A Very Knowledgeable Sales Staff & Certified Car Seat Installation tech, whom also sold us Our Furniture. I would recommend this store to Anyone! more

Dishonest in dealing with owner 2/13/2011

BEWARE! Owner misrepresents on what he has, quality, and greatly misrepresents delivery times. Took weeks longer to get items then quoted by owner. I drove all the way across town after being told they had a large variety of stock by owner, and when I got there an hour later..they had next to nothing. On another occasion, it took 4 months to receive a BOB stroller when ordered. Ridiculous. Never going back.. more

THIS RETAILER PRACTICES ""BAIT & SWITCH"" TECHNIQUES and misrepresents the products it sells. I have to strongly agree with many others who have taken the time to warn consumers about this company. I should have heeded the warning from others regarding this retailer, however it is local and I thought if I was cautious I would be okay. The salesperson straight up lied to me and told me that the Pali Solerno 4 in 1 Forever crib I was buying had all 4 stages (the universal rails were being given on a promo). After waiting 4 months, YES...4 MONTHS to get the forth and FINAL part of a 4 in 1 crib purchased in 02/10, I realized that the final part of my complete set was NOT the final part. The toddler rail (stage 3) WAS NOT INCLUDED!! After trying to diplomatically explain this to the sales manager, Nancy (who refused to initiate a single phone call or remember my name for that matter) and the owner, Darren (who was more concerned that he actually only made 27% profit on me as opposed to 35%), I was told, 'Tough, you have to buy it'. I stated that I would like to return all $1300 worth of merchandise and have my money refunded. His response was that it was special order, I wouldn't get my money back and to, quote....""Take a look at my receipt"". I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau with regards to deceptive business practices. I urge everyone to AVOID THIS RETAILER AT ALL COST!! Pros: NOTHING Cons: EVERYTHING more

My overall experience at this store went well. The sales people were not pushy and directed me toward what i needed. I ended up ordering beautiful furniture and i received it all on time!!. What really caught my attention about BabyTown was how knowledgeable the sales staff are. Pros: Friendly staff, great prices. more

Worst Ever 5/13/2010

As with other reviewers, I ordered my furniture well before my due date (5 months.) When my daughter was born I still did not have my furniture and when it finally did come in, they didn't even call to tell me. I have spent countless hours on the phone with them trying to understand when my merchandise would come in. The worst part is that they have you pay up front, which basically means they use your money for operating expenses without placing your order. You will get the runaround that the manufacturer is backordered - I tried to confirm this with other distributers and they said there wasn't a problem with the manufacturer. After all this, the only thing they did was refund my delivery fee. Please - find your furniture somewhere else. Cons: You will never get your furniture more

Bad Customer Service - Orders take forever!!! 11/12/2009

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the other bad reviews of Baby Town. Since there aren't that many baby specialty stores left around, I went to Baby Town. I found exactly what I was looking for, placed my order 4 months before I was due and was quoted an 8-10 week delivery time. 8-10 weeks came and went and my furniture still had not arrived. I called and called, only for them to tell me the manufacturer was backordered and there was nothing they could do! My baby was 3 months old by the time her furniture arrived! I was SO dissapointed especially because you would think that you would receive better customer service after spending thousands of dollars at a store! Sadly enough, I will not be able to recommend this store to my family and friends unless they are willing to deal with rude salespeople and long wait times! Lies & False Promises - DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE!!! 10/10/2008

10 weeks ago, we ordered an expensive crib and dresser from BabyTown over the phone and were promised by the store's VP, Darren, that we would receive everything within 8 weeks. He assured us that we had nothing to worry about and that he would personally ensure that the order was arranged to arrive on time. When we received the invoice, it stated that the furniture would arrive in 10 weeks, but no orders were guaranteed. Darren reassured us that the invoice was a formality and that the furniture would arrive in 8 weeks. It's now 10 weeks and we have not received the furniture. Darren stated that he is ""at the mercy of the manufacturer."" He was rude and inconsiderate over the phone. As compensation, he offered us a $20 discount on delivery ($170). NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE! Once they have your money, customer service goes out the door. more

Worst Customer Sevice 4/2/2008

We had a terrible experience with BabyTown. After ordering a (very expensive) piece of furniture from them, and being told it would take 10 weeks, it took 4 MONTHS! We called repeatedly to check on the status of the order, and finally I had to call again to find out our furniture had arrived a week before. They never even called us. When I suggested they deliver our glider as means of reconciling the issue, they refused. I will never again go to Baby Town, and I would recommend avoiding this store. Worst Baby Store! DO NOT ENTER! 3/15/2008

Poor Customer Service. Had to wait for a long time to get help. Very rude and unprofessional people sitting by the cash register. They use poor language and talk about inappropriate subjects in front of the customers and the many kids in the store. One worker was even cutting her nails in the front when I was at the cash register waiting for help!! Also, extremely high prices! DO NOT ENTER THIS STORE! Pros: Clean Store Cons: Everything else was horrible. more
