I have been coming here since I was 18. My Aunt treated me to my 1st facial and massage and now over 10years later I don't go anywhere else. I love this place and now that I live in Oakland this is still my number one place to go its worth the drive. more

Great facility/service 10/24/2011

The interior is very nicely appointed with relaxing touches. I loved the tea options in the comfy waiting area! The facial was amazing. We had to walk a short distance to another building for our mani/pedis, but my nail color is lasting a long time. Overall, above average experience and very friendly staff. more

best theraputic massage 10/24/2011

I have gone to AvantGard for years and was not able to get in with my regular person on short notice. I believe I saw Laura who is AMAZING! I had been having back issues again and asked for a deep theraputic massage. I feel amazing :)Can't wait to go back for a relaxation massage with her. more

Amazing experience! 10/18/2011

I had a back massage and brow appt. on Sunday and both were far above my expectations! Jen has a truly amazing talent and was able to untangle some very knotted shoulders (3 days of painting a ceiling!). I was really blown away by her expertise and then was equally impressed with Lesley who waxed and tinted my brows and then recommended (and sampled) some skincare products she thought would help my stressed out skin! Top notch from beginning to end - the reception team to the practitioners! more

Not only is Avantgard sumptuous, but their staff is fantastic. Sarelle worked out all the kinks in my hip and iwalked Out pain free for the first time in months. Love her! more

Brow Bar 10/16/2011

This is my third or fourth time having Jessica tint my brows and lashes at the AvantGard Spa. Every time has been a delight, and Jessica always has my "mix" prepared and ready when I arrive. She has an uncanny memory about things we've talked about before, which is pretty impressive since I only come in every 3 months or so. Excellent care and service! more

Loved my facial 10/9/2011

While I have been to this spa several times, this visit was a great necessity for me. I recently broke my wrist and have not been able to properly take care of my face. My problem areas were taken care of and my face looked great when I left. I also loved the mini massage that comes with the facial. The girl (sorry, forgot her name) who did it put alittle presurre into it which most do not due when having a facial. Will be back soon and I always refer my friends and family. more

I've been going to AvantGard Spa for a few years now and have always had a good experience. From massages, waxing and eyebrow treatments it's all good! Appointments aren't difficult to schedule, clinicians are knowledgeable and professional and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Also, parking is easy. Doesn't get better than that for me folks! more

This spa was wonderful! Monika, who gave me my facial, did a fantastic job and I left feeling not only refreshed and beautiful, but educated about my skin concerns. The staff was all very professional and kind. I even got a free lip balm for checking in on Facebook! more

Relax time 9/30/2011

I had an appointment with Jessica(who is wonderful) to have my eyebrows done and I was 1/2 and hour early. I went and sat in the lounge with a book and had such a relaxing time that it was hard to get up and go to my appt. I love the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. It is really a nice place to be. more
