I have bought 2 cars from this dealership. After a bad customer service experience at Sandburg Volvo in Lynnwood my husband and I walked out and drove to Barrier in Bellevue to buy it there. It was great experience. They didn't try the gimmicks and the high pressure sales tactics that I hate. They just wanted me to love the car I bought at a deal that we could make. We ended up a few years later upgrading the car for an SUV and had same salesperson and loved the experience again. I also have used the repair center and have had WONDERFUL service there. In fact I went in to get routine work done and was told it didn't need to be done yet!! I drive past a closer Volvo dealership to go to this one for any service work. I also love the free car washes! I just wish that when my husband wanted a brand new Mustang that Barrier auto group sold them. It made me appreciate Barrier so much more!!! more

We bought our Volvo at Barrier and had a really good experience. The sales staff did not pressure us at all or try any of the weird gimmicks you read about. For test drives, they just handed us the keys so we could try it out on our own. When it came to actually purchasing the car, it was smooth sailing, taking maybe 40 minutes total to fill out the paperwork. Barrier may not be the cheapest dealership out there, but we got a really good deal and have a lot of confidence with our purchase. Also, any Barrier car comes with free car washes for life. We go there once a week in the summer, so that adds up. They also host a free ownership class to help you get to know your vehicle and ask any questions. Barrier has Volvo, Mercedes Benz, Porsche and Audi so if you are in the market for one those, check them out. more
