I've been taking our family cars to Dan and Ray at Auto Stop for a few years now. It's the only place that we'll go. Dan talks a lot about being an ""honest mechanic"" and I believe him. I can't remember a time when I wasn't surprised (on the low side) by the cost of any repairs or service I've had done. Even when I've come to him requesting a more expensive service that was unnecessary, I was told a less expensive one would work better. To me that is the epitome of honesty, when easy money is right in front of you and you turn it down to do the right thing for a customer. Thanks Dan! more

MEAN, HORRIBLE 8/24/2010

The guy who owns this place charges outrageous prices. he quoted me $4,000 to install an engine. He said It was probally best since quote ""18"" and I could learn how to do it myself. I told him I wasn't 18 and that I was 24 with injuries from being in the army. I told him that is a ripoff. He yelled at me and got in my face telling me he's never stole off anyone. The owner obviously has an anger issue because he got in my face yelling. DON'T GO THERE, OWNER IS MEAN AND OVER CHARGES more

Treated right by the car mechanic 2/16/2010

Thanks for your hard work in making sure my Miata was in top running condition. I appreciate your upfront pricing and explanation of everything that needed to be covered in this tune up.
