Best Sushi North of Boston 10/18/2010

We found this restaurant while at the PE Museum and have only sat at the sushi bar. What a fabulous meal! Their rolls are very fresh and a wonderful mix of flavors. The Volcano Roll and Red Dragon Roll are simply amazing - this is a ""must try"" and you'll be repeat customers. Parking is in the public parking garage and just walk through the mall. more

Sushi is Tops, Hibachi Grill Room is Great for Groups 2/6/2010

If you enjoy authentic sushi, Asahi is the best. The sushi is fresh and hand made. This restaurant is not an addition of sushi to a Chinese Restaurant but has traditional Japanese specialties.\r The Hibachi Grill Room (teppan chefs cook your meal at your table) is a delight. Birthday parties, group gatherings, office parties, etc. are a lot of fun.\r Reasonably priced ( to include rice, soup, salad,) make this a destination that is worth a visit. Pros: Authentic Japanese Cuisine Cons: A Must in Hibachi Room for Reservations on Weekends more

I've been to many sushi places in Boston, and I have to say they've got best sushi in the MA. The young japanese chef does excellent job, nice presentation, and the fish is really fresh! You must try! more

Bring me water! 4/24/2005

The food was very tasty. The sushi chef is very talented. The non-sushi bar food was wonderful as well. I have eaten here many times because the food is so good. The service on the other is not so good. I have had to wait up to 15 minutes for a water refill. If want good food this is the place, but I would love it more if it was a little more traditional. It is not a romantic place, but if you go want to go somewhere that you can talk this is it. Pros: Great Food Cons: slow refills on drink more

The best sushi on the north shore 2/20/2005

This is an upscale Japanese restaurant. You are treated with the utmost attention to both service, food, & beverages. Located in the heart of historical Salem, across from the Peabody Essex Museum. Pros: comfortable, validated parking, excellent food Cons: sometimes crowded more
