My husband and I hired Artlynn for our wedding photography and we are so happy that we did! The experience thus far has been great. Anytime we called or went into the studio we worked with Denise and she was absolutely wonderful. She was super nice & always very helpful in answering any questions that we had. Our photographer was Jeff! He was by far one of the best photographers I've ever worked with. I've stood up in weddings before and Jeff was just different. He was so personable and he made taking the pictures fun. He was creative and on top of everything. We recently picked up our proofs (pretty short lead time) and it really showed in the pictures what a great photographer he was. We are IN LOVE with all of our pictures. It is going to be difficult to pick which pictures we want in our album because we like so many. We received a ton of compliments from family & friends about how awesome our photographer was. We are very satisfied and will be recommending Artlynn & Jeff to all of our family & friends getting married. more

We used Artlynn for our wedding photography and we were thrilled with the outcome. From the beginning of the process, Tony and everyone at Artlynn were extremely helpful and replied to us quickly. When we first met with Tony he explained to us all the packages that were available and what was included with each. The prices were very reasonable for the amount of time they were photographing us and the number of photos they took. The quality of the photos were out of this world, we were absolutely amazed at the job Tony did. I gave Tony a bunch of photos from Pinterest so he could get an idea of the types of photos I wanted and I'm pretty sure he got all of them and more. Tony has an incredible eye when it comes to lighting and catching great moments. He showed us some of the pictures he was taking along the way and we knew they were going to be phenomenal. Tony was very professional, he showed up on time and was very personable the whole day, we really enjoyed him being apart of our day. I highly recommend Artlynn Photography and Tony. I'm obsessed with our photos, they really help us relive our amazing wedding day! more

Tim S. photographed our wedding on 11/28/14 and he arrived early and stayed until the last dance. Our wedding proofs were back before we were even back in the country a week later. The office staff is very helpful and has late hours at least twice a week and on Saturdays. We were a little disappointed that all of our picture requests (no centerpiece pictures, no family group pictures at reception) were not fulfilled. I wear glasses and in a lot of pictures there is a glare in my glasses and they were aware that I wear glasses ahead of time. They had photographed my sister's wedding a few years earlier and I do not have a glare in any of those pictures, so I am not sure what was different when I was the bride. more

Undoubtedly, we made the correct decision in selecting Artlynn as our wedding photographer! There is a reason that this family business has been around for 25+ years! They are cost-competitive (actually a bit lower than other photographers we considered) and offered more re-assurances than others with regards to backup photographers, equipment, etc. They are complete professionals and are experienced enough to know what shots we would want. Tony and Jeff added creativity, enthusiasm, and great attitudes to our wedding day and were able to capture wonderful shots. Denise was incredibly helpful both before the wedding day to recommend appropriate opportunities to take certain family photos as well as afterwards, as we put our album together. In addition to the standard online gallery and digital prints, Artlynn still offers a full proof book, which is not only convenient for relatives who aren't online, but it's also ideal to compare actual photos side-by-side. Plus, we keep that proof book! Artlynn also prints their own images in their studio. \r \r As a tip to engaged couples, we recommend 2 photographers for the entire day, to ensure that nothing is missed. The photos of the groom getting ready with his family were just as wonderful as those of the bride. more

My husband and I are very pleased with the service we were promised with Art Lynn Photography. Our photographer's name was Tim and he was awesome. Tim knew just what he was doing and he made the day very easy for us all. We spent no time just waiting around for him to figure out what he wanted to do, his envisions came to life and his creativity showed in our proofs. The office staff was great and they really helped us out when we went in for the first time all nervous and confused. We paid big bucks for the Romance Album, but it will totally be worth it because the albums look gorgeous and it is something we will be proud of showing our coworkers, friends, family, future children, and future grandchildren. My experience with Artlynn was easy and helpful from beginning to end. The office staff in Lansing was super nice. They showed me their product and explained all of the package options without being pushy. I was asked questions about the style I liked, how I wanted the day to go, etc. Their prices for the product cannot be beat. I looked into a number of different options and they all cost a LOT more for less services and products. Tony, the photographer on the day of the wedding, was amazing! He was friendly, calm, and efficient- everything a bride needs. He was happy to take any pictures we requested and often checked to make sure he was getting everything we wanted. He even got my two young flower girls to look and smile in the photos- job well done! The proofs were ready in less than two weeks! I would definitely recommend Artlynn. more

My fiance and I were referred to Artlynn by the hotel we had booked for our wedding reception. We were to receive 1 free engagement photo after a free session. The level of professionalism throughout that whole process lead us to book Artlynn for our wedding that night. Those pictures turned out amazing and we were very excited to have that same level of quality for our wedding.\r \r Well the quality and professionalism was kicked up 5 more notches for our wedding! Our photographer George was absolutely amazing! He was able to corral the bridal party and families for photos without ever coming across as pushy. He was open to ideas that my wife's sister had seen on Pinterest, and had amazing ideas of his own. \r \r At the end of the night he asked my wife and I if there were any other pictures we wanted. He had done such an amazing job already we said, ""no you can go home! Thank you so much.""\r \r That is when George went from amazing to remarkable. He responded by saying he would take a few more pictures of the dance floor. He then proceeded to seek out both of our sets of parents and ask them if there were any other pictures they wanted before he left.\r \r That level of service is truly something I would have never dreamed of. On top of all of that pictures turned out beautiful and the level of customization for the wedding album is unmatched.\r \r Artlynn gets how to do wedding photos and how to do them right. Artlynn did not disappoint! We used them for our wedding on 06/01/2014! We had a fantastic experience from signing the contract to picking up the proofs. Our photographer, Tony was professional, very patient and most of all an all around good guy with excellent photo ideas. They also did our engagement session. The pictures are awesome. I used them back in 1992 and was very please back then, now 22 years later they are even better! I would never go anywhere else. more

Artlynn was recommended to us by my now mother in law. We went there for our first apt, and were completely blown away with the place. They were so kind, respectful, and informative. We met with Tony on our first apt, and found out he was also one of the photographers. So, after having such an amazing experience, we asked if he was available on the day of our wedding. Luckily he was, and it was the best choice we made. Tony was such an amazing photographer, and in general, and awesome guy. He was so upbeat, kept all of our bridal party excited and involved in the pictures. He made it fun especially when wedding pictures can take a long time. I highly recommend him as a photographer and Artlynn in general. We got our proofs about a month ago, and every person including us have commented on how beautiful these pictures came out and impressed by Tony. While planning my wedding I looked spoke to my sister about who photographed her wedding and she said Artlynn but told me she wasn't 100% happy with her services from them. Her wedding was 8 years ago so I chose to go in and speak to them anyways. When I first arrived there was a gentleman who told me he was from another location but he could help me. I explained some of the details of my wedding (as I was having a unique theme) and he got as excited as I was. I was very impressed with his very personable attitude and great attitude. I asked him if he would photograph my wedding himself and he said he would but told me that Tim would do a better job. He explained to me that Tim was an amazing photographer and that my wedding was right up his alley. He was very right. I could not walk away from a company with such an honest and passionate person and we signed the contract a day or two later. On the day of my wedding Tim was very prompt, polite, kind, and funny. He worked well with all of my challenges including my young ring bearers who did not want to cooperate and my German Shepherd flower girl. He helped me achieve a good variety of poses and took A LOT of pictures for me to choose from later. I could not have asked for a better photographer. The office also got my proof book to me very promptly which helped wrap up our experience that I would recommend to anyone. more

Well we didn't have issues with the office staff, but the photographer we chose was not the one who showed up at our wedding nor were we notified of the change as they said they would. We had very few photos to choose from considering the price, and my biggest issue was having to create the wedding album by hand, on a piece of paper, so you don't have any idea how the pages will actually turn out when it is complete. I know a few people recently married who paid the same price as us and were much happier with the results. Pros: null Cons: null more

I am a researcher and spent A LOT of time reading reviews, going to bridal shows, comparing packages and prices (I narrowed it down to 4 out of 32), and went to three office visits. Artlynn was our last consult and we signed the contract right there. I met Tony at a bridal show and when I told him about how we were going to have White Castle as a post-ceremony snack (it was an inside joke with my father and I am still mortified I let it happen), he laughed and was really interested. We actually had two photographers, Tony and Voicheck and they were amazing! Tony was more traditional and a pro at getting our group shots done quickly and efficiently. Voicheck was such a character! Our wedding was at my parent's house and he used all the crazy statues she has, embraced my family's wildness, and made us laugh so our pictures looked less rehearsed. We had our proofs two weeks after the wedding and have not been able to stop looking at them. more

Art Lynn Photography is the kind of local business that is clueless when it comes to customer service. I'm surprised they've stayed in business so long. more
