Beware; this outfit is no good in metalwork! I gave them to attach a broken key handle from an old simple cylindrical barrel shaft type of key. They welded the two pieces together crooked, and at the same time they broke-off the rectangular single tooth at the end of the key’s shaft, most likely during the straitening attempt and brazenly handed me the two pieces with an explanation that “the tooth fell-off during the welding process, and there was nothing else they could do.” It was a fabricated story because the torn-off matching grooves between the tooth and the shaft were clearly visible. I spoke with the owner and asked her since they could not fix it than to make a duplicate key and even offered her to pay for any additional cost. I found her not only uncooperative, but rude. As a solution they welded a washer to a similar key with a shaft that was a ½ inch shorter than my original key. In order to avoid further argument I just paid for the useless key about $50, and plan to look for a competent art restoration shop, elsewhere.
