Did not show for scheduled appt. Called once per hour, after 8 hours of waiting, told they would not come after all. On 12/10/14 scheduled service appt with Danielle for 12/24/14 btwn 11 am - 2 pm. Phoned at about 12:30 pm to confirm they were coming as did not want to waste my Xmas Eve waiting if somehow they had messed up the appt. They took all info and said they would double ck the appt for me. Did not get a return call. Phoned again at 1:54 pm. They took all info again & said Tech would phone me to give an estimated ETA. Did happen. Phoned again at 3 pm, gave all info, no promised call back. Phoned again at 4 pm, gave all info again. These people never never said they were an answering service, they purported to be the ARS office. Finally at 4:30 a tech, Matt, phoned. Said he was an hour away on a call that they had been closed to all except emergencies all day! he would phone me when he had an ETA. At 6:15 I called again since he had not called me back. Finally at 7:30 pm he phoned and said his manager, Jason, had told him not to come. I asked to have his manager phone me as I had now been waiting all day & evening for their promised service. If they had not been going to come, they should: 1. Not have made an appt for a day they were closed. 2. Told me immediately when I phoned at 12:30 that they would not come. 3. Told me when I phoned at 2 pm, at 3 pm, at 4 pm, at 6:30 pm. Unforgivable. more

After calling several plumbers on the 4th of July, 2013, we were thrilled that ARS was able to respond. Adam from ARS came and did an excellent job. He was professional, courteous and has a fabulous attitude. He completed the work professionally and efficiently. It was a pleasure to meet him. I would recommend him to anyone. more

ARS, Anthony, Sandra, Jerry, Mark and another technician were wonderful from start to finish!! I had superlative experience from beginning to end in what turned out to be complex replacement of a 4th story HVAC system. I will use the ARS crew again in a heart beat and know that they earned every cent! Thank you for going to Myrtle Beach for parts, working til 11pm to make sure my weekend company were cool and thank you for using experienced technicians who did not give up when old wiring in obscure locations slowed the installation hook up. Great team! more

6 weeks of Misery 9/15/2011

Hired ARS to replace entire HVAC system. Four days job turned into 6 wks of H--L! . Everything was done wrong and had to be fixed. I was even yelled at by a mgr from ARS. Another ARS mgr. inspected and said job was done. S'ville City Inspector came & found 7 code violations. Wouldn't pass the job.I was told it was the worst job he had ever seen. I fired ARS. I had not paid anything. ARS atty drew up a waiver to release them of any damages. It also stated they would pay me compensation. OK! I had lost rental revenue on the property and am now paying the tenents $100 on their electric bill monthly due to collapsed ducts and other problems. ARS then reneged on the contract they drew up and signed. Now I have an attorney. In short, ARS is Awful! more
