Editorial review from Citysearch 2/1/2013

Fred Hink of Arrowhead Motorsports has an amazing knowledge of motorcycles in general & Kawasaki KLR 650's specifically. His stock & ability to source items for this dual sport model is second to none & his shipping is quick & efficient. When in the region, which is yearly & long term, Fred has been my trusted supplier for over 15 years. If I need anything, such as tires, chain, sprockets, clutch plates hand guards or filters for any bike from pure dirt to adventure tourer Fred is able to efficiently source the product, arrange fast delivery & install if needed, so my riding can carry on. I recommend Fred as both an on-line supplier & an amazing resource when in the Moab area. Thumbs up to Fred & Arrowhead!!! Kevin more

Experienced Dual Sport Riders Come Here 9/29/2009

Fred Hink, the owner of Arrowhead Motorsports in Moab, Utah has gone out of his way over the last 11 years to provide technical advice, service and parts replacement for all of my motorcycles. Besides his regular business in the USA, he serves adventure motorcyclists from all over the world. He made special shipments of tires and other parts to remote locations in the US and Alaska when I needed them during each of my two major dual-sport trips totaling nearly 62,000 miles. He also helped me troubleshoot electrical and carb problems on two occasions by phone when I was in northern Canada and South Dakota. Fred is a small businessman who likes his work, and it shows in his business relationship with me. He has a Kansas-bred sensibility, he is honest , and he treated me with respect even when I was uncertain or unaware of potential problems with my motorcycles or accessory equipment. In regard to shipments, the USPS option is usually reliable. Pros: Honesty, good service and solid technical advice Cons: Wish they were closer more

Arrogant people, very poor service 2/9/2009

Packaging was horrible -- product was damaged when received but ""Fred"" at Arrowhead didn't care -- he got his money. For in stock items it took over 2 weeks for my order to arrive but they were unable to do tracking because he shipped USPS which will not run a trace for 30 days. The $30 shipping charge apparently wasn't enough for Arrowhead to buy a shipping box, so they tore open thin cardboard display boxes for product I bought, shoved other products inside, and taped it over. These boxes were mutilated on the corners by the time they arrived at my home. I have never seen a worse packaging job in many years of mail ordering from dozens of vendors. I will never order from there again. Pros: Stock lots of items Cons: Everything else. more
