I would NOT recommend them. True they are quick and save you money that way, but if something is damaged, the owner will not take responsibility. There were a number of nicks dings and scratches that I could live with, more than I have seen in prior moves, that I think were a result of rushing. The dents on the refrigerator door I cannot live with.\r Greg told me he was insured, but I believe he is not. I saw the policy declaration before I paid him but it was expired. He said he just forgot to replace it. I wrote down the insurance company and policy number. I filed a claim with a company that had the same name, but it was not a valid policy number. They did not think they were the carrier, and the person I dealt with researched to find a company by that name, she couldn't find one. She called him to request accurate policy number and he said he would call her back. The next time she tried he didn't answer, and has never called her back.\r He was stalling with me through e-mails saying he would work with me. He offerred me 10% of what it will cost to replace the dented doors, and of course says they didn't do it. I again asked if he had valid insurance, he said he did. The final thing he wrote was that he had filed a claim and I would get a check in a few weeks. I think he thinks I will forget about it and go away. I e-mailed 1 last time and said that as the adjustor would need to look at the damages, that I needed the contact information or the adjustor to call me by Monday (2 days ago). I got no response from him and no adjustor called me. (I asked for insurance info several times in our e-mailing).\r I see good reviews on this site, I saw one on Citysearch that basically had the same experience as I did.\r He lies and is unethical. If you want to be moved quickly with your stuff tossed around and damaged but pay a cheap price - this is the company for you! If there have damages however, don't expect them to be taken care of. \r \r 5/24 - Come to find out he is not registered/licensed with the Texas DMV (although he did have a TXDOT number), which means he is not even legal to do what he is doing. He may have taken care of is business by now....but buyer beware. more

Absolute best movers around. They have moved me on multiple occasions and I have never been disappointed. You can trust these guys to arrive on time and move your items carefully and quickly. And of course...they have the best prices. I am not sure what about the last comment as that was not my experience with them at all. more

Use Greg if you want to be lied to, cheated, if you want your stuff broken, and it you want to be treated like crap. He is not insured...\r \r He was an hour late. He broke our sand ceremony vase for my grandfather who passed away before our wedding, an antique china dish, our wedding portrait frame, and our dining room table. \r \r We called and he said he was insured and would take care of it. It took him 2 months to come out and look at the items. He would call and say that he is coming and not show up. He finally came by and said that his insurance would pay for the dish and the vase and he would have someone fix the table and frame. He said his insurance would call us the next week. \r \r We did not hear from him again for another 2 months. His attitude turned from ""Mr Customer Service for 14 years"" to ""I don't give a crap about you and your stuff."" He was really rude and said that he was not going to file a claim with his insurance because his rates would go up. I DO NOT THINK HE HAS INSURANCE!!! He said that we were asking for $200 for the broken items (which he originally agree upon) and our move only cost $250 (it was around $400). He said he was not going to give us any money for the broken items and he wanted me to compromise with him. He said he would fix the table. I thought if I gave him the table to fix I would never see it again. I told him not to bother.\r \r You are supposed to use movers to put you at ease when moving, Greg only made our move a very sad event. more

YOU CAN TRUST THESE GUYS... 7/11/2011

Greg (the owner) is very well organized. They showed up and they all went to work right away. Very courteous and intelligent movers. They treated our household items like their own. Honest movers are VERY hard to find, trust me, these guys are the best I have ever dealt with. I have dealt with quite a few companies over the years, both professionally and personally. What they say is what you get, no hidden fees. They do not drag the work out to charge more time. They move as quick as possible and we had to encourage them to take a break and drink some water. We felt very pleased with the price charged and also the quality of work. NOT ONE PIECE of any of our belongings were damanged in any way. \r If you do not call Around the Clock Movers you are doing yourself a HUGE in justice. Do not trust your money and household items to just anyone trust them to these guys. \r thanks \r more

Great moving company! 9/27/2009

Around The Clock Movers have moved my office twice. We call them when we redecorate our home, to move heavy furniture around. Many of our family members have called on Around The Clock Movers to move their furnishings. They are honest, trustworthy and very careful with your furniture and home. I had a huge book case that had to be carried upstairs and over a railing. They performed this without scratching walls or furniture. MY HUSBAND AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AROUND THE CLOCK MOVERS! Pros: You can always reach the owner more

WORST MOVERS EVER! 8/3/2009

Around The Clock Movers are the worst!!\r I contacted around the clock movers Wednesday evening so that I could move on Saturday. They informed me that they would be at my place of residence at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. I called at 6:40 p.m. and they informed me it would be 7:30 p.m. instead. I called again after no show at 8:10 p.m. and they informed me that they were trying to finish up their prior job and would be at my residence shortly. At 9:15 my fiance' called and they assured him they would be done in 15 minutes. At 10:00 p.m. my fiance' called again and they informed him that they were on their way from Memorial. At 11:00 my fiance' called again and asked him if we would be getting a discount. Around the clock movers stated 10%. My fiance' called back again after 30 minutes and stated that we would need at least 20%. Around the clock movers stated that they couldnt do 20% so my fiance' told him not to worry about it. He said ok and hung up. My fiance' called back and around the clock movers said they just couldnt do it and I got upset and stated that this was ridiculous! We had been waiting on them for 5 hours and not once did they say ""I'm sorry"" My 3 boys who are 8 6 and 5 years old were still up and we were all tired and exhausted. Around the clock movers stated to my fiance' ""I told her that I had another job to do and oh I did initially tell her 7:00 p.m."" Are you kidding me? Even if he did say 7 which he didnt who cares its 11:30 p.m.! DO NOT USE AROUND THE CLOCK MOVERS! THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!! Cons: HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! more

GREAT 10/2/2006

I would HIGHLY recommend Around the Clock Movers! I used them on a recommendation from a friend. She said they were fast, dependable and came recommended to her from a few doctors at St. Luke's. I called them and were surprised that they were MUCH LESS expensive than the competitors. Although I was slightly reluctant because of the price, I went ahead and booked them. They showed up on the day of my move right on time and got our house moved in only 3 1/2 hours, when I was expecting more of a 5-6 hour move. The movers were very professional and FAST! I had to chase them down to even hand them a bottle of water! They were so quick and great and saved us quite a bit of money in the end. :) Pros: Fast, Dependable, Great price more
