Awesome paella, fish tacos, salsa, guacamole, maduros, and flan! 2/14/2009

I have been going to this restaurant for a few years now and it is consistently great. It has become very busy on weekends (which is good). I know people that drive from Atlanta to eat here. Menu is similar to La Fonda in Atlanta but much tastier! I have never eaten anything here that didn't taste great. Best paella-My friend says the only time he has had a better one is in Spain. Fish tacos are great and you must try the chocolate flan. This is way better than your standard Mexican fare. Service is quick too. I don't know of a better restaurant in this area of Gwinnett. Pros: food, service Cons: a little noisy more

Good Food - Reasonable Price 7/29/2008

We stopped by after church and I ordered for the table, Sangria (normally, a red wine combined with various fruits, alcoholic spirits, lemonade, sugar). Armando's Sangria was a serious disappointment. However, the food done right and each plate was piled high. Great flavor. The chips and salsa, especially the salsa, were great. Service was good, and the decor colorful. With the exception of the Sangria it was Very Good. Pros: Food Cons: Sangria more

Freshest Latin/Mexican in the Area! Lobster tacos are to die for! Recommend without hesitation!! 1/17/2008

Best Latin/Mexican Food in the Atlanta Area. No speedy Gonzalez here or chain restaurant food! Fun, laid-back atmosphere, great service and consistently delicious fare! I would consider myself a Latin/Mexican food aficionado and this place never disappoints. I recommend starting out with the fresh guacamole for the table (fresh avocado chunks, tomatoes, cilantro, onion...not the paste that you tend to find in chain Mexican restaurants). The Shrimp & Corn Chowder has the perfect, creamy consistency and full shrimp, and the lobster tacos with the fried peppers are absolutely phenomenal! I also consider the enchiladas con pollo the most flavorful chicken enchiladas I've ever had. I have tried almost everything on the menu and you really can't go wrong. Pros: Food, service, value, consistency Cons: Texas margaritas could be a bit stronger, but I like my Grand Marnier more

Good if you don't want to wait 8/31/2007

This restaurant is ok for cuban food. One thing I can say is that you will get great service (because it is usually pretty empty). I thought that the food was so so but the manager did give us coupons for free appetizers for 5 more visits. Pros: No wait Cons: Not much to wait for more

Cuban 8/25/2007

Good Cuban food. Close to my office so I stop there now and then. I just wish they would offer steamed rice instead of yellow rice with their plates. It always annoys me when restaurants feel they have to ""Americanize"" ethnic food to attract customers. Pros: Good food. Nice atmosphere. Easy access. Cons: Americanized Cuban menu more
