I took my truck into this shop to have it smog checked without an appointment. They took me right in and had my vehicle back to me within the hour. They have wonderful staff and they never over charge for their services. They are honest and hard working. I have had other services done to both of my vehicles and have been nothing but pleased when my vehicles are returned to me in great working condition and an inexpensive bill for the repairs done. I have even had the mechanics give me quality advice on how to repair my vehicle on my own to save me the costs of labor. Love this shop and I will never go anywhere else. more

I have been a regular customer at Ardern Villiage Service Station, for some many years. I am a resident in the nearby neighborhood, but it is the continuous reputable service that frequents my returns. Hereafter is such an example, most recently a friend of mine purchased a used vehicle from Mass., with a great many problems. Such come with elements from that part of the nation and 15+ years on a 4wd suv. Anyhow you could not go forward and drive unless you started out in 1st gear, and shifted up to drive. So we took this suv to aamco where they apparently re-did the transmission, during its 9 day stay and warrantied their work for 1 year. (At a cost of $1,200. and some change). Well to make a long, long, long story, shorter... It went for the drive home, and then the next day, much to my surprise, I encountered again the same problem for the 1st time under warranty. Aamco received and kept the suv for another such 6 days. upon picking it up now for the 2nd time I drove it for about the same amount of time,6 DAYS! Over the next month they had the vehicle a little more than 2 1/2 weeks. Frustrated before even leaving the parking lot of AAMCO this the 4th or 5th and final time, my mind was made up to stop at my "just down the street" helpful neigborhood friendly resourceful mechanics at Arden Villiage Service Station. The owner, noticing my disgusted disposition, took the time away from what he was doing at that time, to run a few diagnostics for me. By doing so, he was able to offer me up some definite possibilities to resolve my mechanical mayhem! Unable to begin the work that evening, it was after 6pm, I took home my suv and returned it to them the neXt morning. I believe it was 3-4 days total at the hands of their mechanics, (which by the way includes, 1 of those days , them waiting for parts to arrive), before picking up , or should I say be Re-United with my suv the one that i purchased more than 2 months ago, and yet only had parked in my driveway for less than 20 days. so now is the end of story... its been ever since then that we can be seen driving it happily around town !
