I used Arbor Animal hospital in Wilton Manors Fl, For over 5 years, And I am so sorry that I ever trusted them, The first few years they did the normal routine check ups: We purchased our flea meds & other non-life treating products from them: The Occasional nail trim for our beloved dog. A few years back I took my elder
Cat, Midnight aka ?Grandpa? to them because his ear was bothering him, they said he had an ear infection, They prescribed meds and told us to bring him back in 2 weeks for a checkup. WE DID.. At that time they said he has a tumor in his ear not an ear infection and That day we had to put him down.. OK that?s ONE of my beloved Pets they misdiagnosed.
From ear infection to tumor COME ON?.I took him in for a 2 week check up and left without him.
The Veterinarians Do NOT take their time with you, The do not stay in the room to answer any question, they are ALWAYS in such a hurry.. it?s like they have too many Clients and all they care about is the money.
If we had any questions for the Vet... the Vet tech had to go find the VET ask the question then relay the answer to us; They are MONEY HUNGRY.
Our Beloved Dog Dutch was not acting right and could not keep Any food down,
After the blood work they diagnosed him with pancreatitis and prescribed OVER $200
In meds he was prescribed a new diet of.. 6 small meals a day of boiled chicken and brown rice.. we tried everything,....
we bought, Whole Chicken breasting & boiled it.. we Bought Ground Turkey. Ground Chicken
I cooked him a turkey breast.. Anything we could think of to try and keep food in him... Week one was all about the new diet.. it was not working so We kept calling and telling them he is not doing any better, We told them several times that he had a lump on his left side .. we brought him back for several other office visits and each time they said it was pancreatitis: The second week
We had X-rays done, more blood work done. And of course each time they charged the $60 ofc visit..
We told them over and over about a lump on his left side.. But the Vet was always in a hurry to get to the next
Room for the next client. This went on for 3 weeks, finally one afternoon they did not call us back and that was it.. We took DUTCH to another Well recommend Vet. he listened to us & stayed in the room for over an hour asking questions and checking all kinds of stuff. he reduced the First time Visit $60 to $40 He felt the lump and sent us to get a sonogram, It was that afternoon We found out that My beloved Dutch had been misdiagnosed the whole time. He had cancer in BOTH Kidneys...And that ""LUMP"" we kept telling them about was his left Kidney inflamed with cancer. So much time had already been wasted that The cancer spread to his lymphoid and nothing could be done, the next day he was gone. So now that IS TWO of my beloved Pets they misdiagnosed. If you love your Pet.. PLEASE take them somewhere else . DON'T TRUST ARBOR ANIMAL HOSPITAL
