Save yourself trouble and join another gym. You aren't told what you will be paying for therapy but they charge you less than the real cost per visit and then you find out at the end how much you really owe! You take a tour and see a hot tub and they don't tell you the hot tub is not included in your price. You can't get a straight answer out of the billing department. The front desk tells you you are a patient, not a customer when you complain. You are intimidated when you ask questions about the cost or simply told they don't know. Don't go here!!! Swim Lessons 11/13/2008

I took my daughter's here for swim lessons over multiple years. They instructors were always good and personable. The price for private lessons were always reasonable. more

Best Gym in Jersey! 1/2/2008

I Just joined and couldn't be happier. I was given 3 free Personal Training sessions my first week. The people are nice, the gym is fully stocked with everything and it is very clean. (wish they gave out towels though!) Anyway, great place to workout with normal people. No muscle heads. I dont swim but there is a beautiful pool too. Pros: Location. Right off Springdale and Rt 70 Cons: No Rock Climbing wall more

Has everything 11/12/2007

I usually get very bored with fitness centers after awhile and tend to bounce around from gym to gym because of it... But this gym has it all! Plenty of weights, cardio, circuits, etc,....like all gyms do... but this one goes a little farther with tons of classes(for guys too), basketball, pool, racquetball, my wife does the yoga and pilates, and they have a space that you can do functional training in too. That's big for me cause i'm active in sports so i like to do some specific training things and this gym gives me the space and the equipment to do them. Really couldn't ask for anything else. People are great too. Always get greeted by name. more

I just joined and the people are so friendly 11/12/2007

I was a member at one of the lower cost chains and to be honest I finally know the meaning of "you get what you pay for". There was never anyone to help me,there was never a manager around, and it was not clean. When I finally said something I was told you are only paying $35 per month, what do you expect? I was shocked at that response. My wife has been a member of The Aquatic and Fitness for years and convinced me to come try it with her. Bottom line is this place is great. It is clean, everyone is so nice, they have great equipment, a pool! I couldnt be happier. Pros: Parking, Customer service, tons of staff. nice people Cons: Only 2 racquetball courts more

I lost my love handles in 6 weeks, BEST TRAINERS IN TOWN 5/23/2007

I joined 3 months ago and bought a training package. At first I didn't think I could do it, my wife had just left me and I had gained 34 pounds in 4 months, but thanks to the dedication of my trainer I made it past the first 2 weeks and saw changes in my appearance. I became more confident and worked toward my goal. I am a different person now. Pros: Personal Trainers, Nutrition, Basketball, Tennis, Spinning more

Do not Join this Gym! Plenty of other gyms in area. Horrible customer service. 4/27/2007

Do not join this gym. The customer service is horrible. Owner and management ignore issues. Cell phones ring off the hook and the members are expected to confront other members to speak elsewhere, causing potential physical confrontations. Trainer hardly ever showed up for sessions, but management ignored the situation until they found out that he was borrowing money from members. Gym is very dark to hide the dirt. Classes frequently cancelled, billing errors made frequently. Save yourself the aggravation and join a different hassle free gym with management who cares about members. Pros: Absolutely none. Go elsewhere. Cons: Everything: Dark, no customer service, rude, classes cancelled, cell phone use abounds more
