i have worked for appalachian for a long period of time they are really great people to work for let me refraise that they are more like family they put you with clients that you are comfortable with and they do give the best care to there clients out of all in home agencys if my mother or father needed in home care apppalachian home care is where i would want them to be with Pros: great people to be around Cons: wonderful environment more

Beware Before You Work Here 12/29/2008

You may be sent to take care of someone without knowing that there are dangerous psychotic family members in the home with a strange obsession with very large sharp objects not to mention strange behavior and medication abuse. Run like hell if they're not honest with you about the possible dangers they are sending you into. You're safer in \r Iraq. At least you know what you're in for. My friend found out the hard way. more
