Best pizza, fried eggplant and pasta. We love the sauce. My sister who has lived all over the country (she's now lives in Japan) says this is the best sauce she has ever had and asked for the recipe once. I guess it is a secret. Excellent customer service. Worth the wait on busy nights (we make reservations). I have been coming to Ann's since 1972. My husband and I also order take out pizza from Ann's every week. I like the cozy atmosphere. The decorations are beautiful around Christmas time. Pros: Everything. I love this place. Especially the pizza A+++++ Cons: Parking on a busy night. more

Surprised 1/5/2006

After hearing the recommendations esp of local Dennis Getto, I was eager to try their pizza. The crust was not outstanding which is the hallmark of a good thin crust pizza. Also, toppings were not that outstanding. Pizza was a disappointment, and I would have preferred to make my own homemade pizza. Pizza was served on a rack as the tables were small. Pros: nice location, adequate parking Cons: not worth the price, service not attentive more

Ann's serves good pizza in a nice atmosphere, and the service is generally very good. Their pizza seems to consistently get very high ratings, not only from customers, but also from the professional critics. I have found their pizza to be good, but nothing to rave about. They do not have a full bar, but they do serve an unusually good strawberry margarita. more

Worth Traveling to the South Side 12/13/2002

Great Pizza and pasta 8/27/2002

My family has been coming here for years! The food is never bad. They have the best Pizza around! I also love the seafood ravioli. Actually you can't really go wrong with any dish. They have been doing it so long, they really know their stuff! I will always reccomend Ann's when going out for Italian food! Pros: Inexpensive, Good parking, Great Food more

Ann's has a great selection of pizza. Their service is promt and wait staff friendly. Even their bus persons wish you a good night. The staff is very helpful. If you need anything, they dont hesitate to bring it to you. The lasagna is excellent, and so is the ravioli. The grounds are well manicured, and its never messy. The restaurant plays soft music, and the lights are never too bright or too dim. It is never a problem finding parking places either. It isnt too formal. Children are welcome, and I also see many couple dining out. Also, in all the years I have been going to the restaurant, I've only seen one person get the wrong order for take out, and it was because she had the same order and last name as someone else. All around, Ann's is a great dining expirience. I highly reccomend it. Pros: helpful staff, good food, clean Cons: sometimes a long wait, bathrooms are small, tables are crowed more

This is not a bad restaurant. You do get your money's worth. The wine is a little pricey, but I think that is going on all over the place now. more
