Best

I love the green chilli, Love the Fench toast!\r Love the Shakes!\r \r Annies has always made me happy. Pros: Good Dinner food Cons: Too far from my house

Worst

Annies is good but not as good as it was at one time. I find the service is slow. The quality is also not what it used to be.

Tastey 5/12/2003

We went to Annie's on a recent trip to Denver for breakfast at the suggestion of just about everyone we know there. The last time we'd tried, the line went out the door. Boy am I glad we got in this time. Though we were able to get in the door, we still waited 15-20 minutes to get a table, but turnover was fast, and everything was efficient. The service was a little too efficient to the point of being curt, but this place was dealing in volume. I ordered the french toast, a biscuit, potatoes, bacon, coffee, and a malt (what can i say, i was hungry). Everything was very good, especially the french toast (cinnamon sugar coated). Prices are a bit high for breakfast, but almost worth it. Next time we'll have to try lunch... more

I used to live a few blocks from Annie's and it was always the best morning food after a late night. Very casual, great service, and yummy food. Pros: Fast Seating Cons: Bad Parking more

PB sur la table 10/31/2002

Now, I like the peanut butter jars on every table. Reminds me of camp. The negatives: canned hash and mediocre coffee. Everything else is retro and good. Service congenial and prompt - on most days. I like this place and go there often. It is definitely worth trying out - except the hash. more

Waste Of Syrup!!!!! 10/26/2002

I have read other recommendations of Annies and had decided to try it out. My wife, daughter and myself all had ordered breakfast entrees. My biggest surprise was that when we received the bill, my 3 1/2 yr old's meal came to $6.50. She wanted a (as in one) pancake, one egg with cheese and a cup of chocolate milk. She has ordered this EXACT meal at probably 20 other restaurants and we have never paid more than $3.99. As for the food: my omelette was O.K., my wife's was dry and rubbery. The pancakes were plain at best (and they were blueberry). 2 out of 3 of the staff were morgue worthy (in need of a pulse check). With all the wonderful breakfast restaurants in Denver it would be a waste of syrup to return here!!! Disappointed Dollar ($27.48 to be exact) in Denver. more
