Anne Marie's Catering

I've been to a couple of events catered by Anne Marie's, just as well I know a handful of people that have used Anne Marie's Catering and absolutely loved them. The food was delicious, the staff was extremely attentive and helpful, and the owner is one of the nicest persons you'll ever meet, even if he is an Aggie :). more

Hall was okay. Would have rather paid to have my gathering some place else. Having a view of a parking lot, not good. Food was good.. more

We can't imagine even considering another caterer over Anne Marie's. Matt led their catering team for our daughter's wedding at the Witte last week-end (4/23/2011) and every detail was superb. There is a reason he has been with this company for so long..he is a true professional who has mastery of his business. His servers and bartenders were very professional, the food was excellent and plentiful. All thru out the planning process Matt was helpful AND flexible with our guests' many varied dietary requests...and he helped the venue staff set up the room beforehand. Thanks Matt---you took alot of the stress away for us and made all the difference in our special day. I HIGHLY recommend Anne Marie's Catering for any occasion. more

There are far too many good things to say about Anne Marie's Catering!! Matt has always been a tremendous help with all of my issues. The food is excellent, so excellent that it took us a long time to decide what we are going to serve at our wedding. My wedding is coming up and I can't wait to eat the food again. I would go everyday for tastings if I could!! I wish Matt could organize my entire life, and not just the wedding. You can tell he knows what he is doing and that he truly cares about making your day as special as possible. I HIGHLY recommend Anne Marie's Catering for any event, not just for weddings. more

I am so blessed to have found Ann Marie's Catering! they are not only amazing at what they do, but they are also amazing as a group all together. Holly was so great! she had plenty of ideas for me to look at and I have to say, I love the way she thinks!! Matt was constantly on top of it and ready for business :). And I have to say that Ruben was amazing at planning placement logistics and designing the lighting! The food was great! I was so exited that day I thought I wouldn't eat a thing but those mashed potatoes won me over! They had even set a plate with hor d'ourves for me ahead of time knowing I wouldn't make it on time for the cocktail hour. :) Over all we had a blast! more

I'm a Wedding Photographer in San ANtonio, and for the last 10 years I've been at a Wedding almost every Saturday. It was very easy to me to decide who was going to take care of my daughter's reception: Ruben, Holly and Matt, of Anne Marie's Devonshire. We had a couple of consultations with Matt and Holly, and I was very pleased with the results. I'm a VERY PICKY PERSON. I know exactly what I want, and how I want it. And being in so many weddings, I had an exact idea of how things are well done. They get it, completely. All the details were taken care of. No one wrinckle on any tablecloth, the flowers were even better than I was expecting, and the stuff were professional and reliable. Ruben were so caring, to the point to allowed us to use his laptop when our laptop didn't work the day that we did the test, because I know this things happen ! The food has been always soo good, that tastes as good as home made. The team was amazing ! All of them. Holly, Mark. I even saw Ruben's wife helping before the reception, to be sure that everything was in order and as planned. I'm a very, very pleased with Anne Marie's and I will keep recommending them to any client that ask me for a great Catering Company. more

We have just gotten Noel's album and we were just going thru all the pictures of the reception. We can not tell you how happy we were with your all's hard work. Noel always says it looked like a Peptobismo explosion. The flowers you all did were great. The extra attention to the tables were so appreciated. Words can not express what we feel for you. My husband and I were married, Dec. 3 2010, in Hawaii. Our destination wedding was absolutely perfect except for one thing...none of our family and friends attended. The idea of sceduling, planning, and every detail that goes into a reception that would take place a month after our official nuptuals was intimidating to my husband and me, but after hearing about a friend's wedding at Devonshire I decided to give it a try. From the very beginning, I felt immediately taken care of. The event played out flawlessly, and I received so many compliments about how gorgeous the banqet hall was decorated, how delicious the food was, and how friendly all of the staff were. I have to give an enormous ""thank you"" to Matt; I know that the night would have never been so perfect without your ideas and guidance. I would recommend Anne Marie's catering to anyone and everyone. Thank you! more

My daughter has very little free time and is immersed in her career so I was tasked with planning her wedding. I can't say enough good things about the team at Anne Marie's at Devonshire Place. Matt was so helpful from the first contact on the phone, to preparing an inclusive estimate so all I had to do on the wedding day is show up and enjoy. He even copied my daughter on all of the communications so she felt involved. When it came time to planning colors and centerpieces his partner Holly emailed pictures of their work and various color combinations to help give us ideas. At the tasting Matt served our entree selection on a dinning table with our linens and centerpiece choice displayed. My daughter felt so special as if she hadn't missed a bit of the planning process. The food was high quality, great presentation and beyond our expectation. When the day of the wedding finally came around the Celebration room looked magical as we parked and walked up the lit staircase leading into the ballroom. We opened the door and the lights were dimmed with the candles in the floral arrangement lit giving the room an magical feel. The fruit and cheese display was so gorgeous our guests were reluctant to dig in. After the prompting of Anne Marie's staff the night began and they never missed a beat for each part of the night keeping us on schedule. Every single guest commented on the delicious food, beautiful room and amazing service. We did a lot of research before selecting a venue and this company delivers the full service they offer. Matt was right, all I had to do is show up. We can't thank Anne Marie's enough for all of the memories my daughter and her husband will cherish of their wedding day. Anne Marie's is worth every penny we spent. A very satisfied Mother of the Bride! more

Gee - I don't what has happened to this place BUT this would be the last place I'd ever consider doing ANY business with. I attended a function there and oh my, words can't describe the horrendous behavior of the owner and his wife. I was just a guest BUT you could sure tell the owners were in it for THEIR money. Apparently what the hostess had paid for was definitely not what she got. My friend’s main complaints were about the food as the quality was horrible. The food tasted like it came straight from a can…a week before. It was cold, tasted stale, and the numbers of servings were short – about 10-15% fewer servings than had been paid for. The quality and quantity of the food matched the service – it was cold, it was short, and it was well below industry standards! The owners acted like they could have cared less when the hostess approached them to complain about it - the venue was over, so what could she do about it? In addition, if that wasn’t insult enough, the employees were standing around taking pictures of each other and let the guests know by their disgust that they displayed, that the guests could just wait until the staff got thru texting and MAYBE they might get around to giving the service the hostess had paid for. I felt so embarrassed for the hostess - so much so that I felt someone should write this review and let everyone know from a guest perspective of what an event at Anne Marie Devonshire Catering (on Starcrest Dr) looks and feels like. We were only invited, thank heavens, and not the one paying for the lunacy and un-professionalism exhibited not only by the employees but also the owners. Honestly if I could leave a negative score of stars, I would have definitely done so. more

My party planner recommended them as they would be able to delivermy wants and needs within my budget or give me recommendations to stay in budget. Holly is best and is genuinely excited to work with you. After having visited with one other person who made me feel bad because I didn't like their ideas, Anne Marie's was a breath of fresh air. The party was the best ever in our family. We had 3 food stations, a nice big bar and the service was great. We didn't want for anything all night. Thanks to A Regal Affair for sending me to this place. more

The room was beautifully decorated. The food was phenomenal (definitely have Anne Marie's do your catering as well as provide your location!). The staff was friendly and helpful--they let us come days ahead of time to set out favors and to try out the dance floor. I can't imagine how my wedding reception could have been better, and I can't recommend this facility strongly enough. Pros: Supportive staff, Decor and catering, Value more
