Dr.Nicholas is the best dentist I ever had .She told me something very smart:"" If you are on a budget you can not afford to do it twice"". Few crowns done less than 3 years were giving me problems and needed to be redone. I wish I came to her office from the beginning. Dr. Krueger did a great job with my crows. Everybody is kind and friendly at the office and the hygienist is great. more

I was worried about the look of the end result with the dental implants. Dr. Nicholas did a fantastic job and it exceeded my expectations. I recommended all my friends to go there and they are also happy .The office is high-tech and very clean and the staff is very carrying. I have been a patient of Dr. Nicholas now for 6 years. I see her regulary now for maintenance hygiene to keep my teeth healthy. I originally went to her office becuase I had lots of dental issues, wore dentures for many years and kept losing teeth and having to get re-lines, etc. Dr. Nicholas did bone grafting, placed 6 implants and eliminated my removable denture. I'm very happy with her work and the other specialists in her office. She gives you options, educates you on the best treatment plan and seems to genuinely care about her patients health and welfare. I would highly recommend her to anyone with denture or tooth failure problems or any other dental related issues. more

Dr. Nicholas has been my dentist for 12 years now and does excellent work and I've never had anything but positive experiences from her and the other specialists who work in her office. She is a very talented dentist and gives you options and lets you decide with no pressure. She even encouraged me to get a 2nd opinion which I did but decided that Dr. Nicholas was the best in the desert for both quality of service and price. I told Dr. Nicholas via email that I was retired and live off my Social Security check and could not afford more than filling my cavities. Nicholas told me in writing she looked forward to helping me, that I would get a complete oral exam and a one hour consultation. Her associate, Dr. Harry Karna looked at my teeth for no more than 3 minutes and ordered a complete set of X-rays. The technician fumbled, took four X-rays of the same tooth, couldn't get the machine to work properly, finally asked for help, tried again, took more X-rays that didn't work, asked for help again. The tech said the problem was ""my mouth is too small"". LOL, LOL. Honest to God! Dr. Karna came back and said he will take one of those Panarama shots. I TOLD HIM THEY DO NOT SHOW THE KIND OF DETAIL NECESSARY. He agreed. After 68 years of seeing dentists it was crystal clear to me that he was making every effort to justify a bill with little regard for what was actually needed. I told them I would come back when they fixed their X-ray machine. When I went to leave I was told to pay $135. YES! $135 for a 3 minute look in my mouth and a broken X-ray machine in an uncomfortable creeky dental chair with a technician that was inept. No care or concern given to this patient. All the while they were fiddling with their equipment, the bright dental exam light was in my face. I finally pushed it aside.When I was leaving they demanded $135!! I reluctantly paid it on my debit card because I felt intimidated and wasn't thinking clearly because I am very nervous when it comes to seeing dentists. Most are caring and concerned, but this office was anything but that. Later I asked that my money be refunded and they refused. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone for any reason. I have been a patient of Dr. Nicholas for over 5 years now and have had 14 dental implants that are probably better than my real teeth. She is very detailed, gives you options based on what you can afford, encourages you to get a 2nd opinion, and is very skilled at what she does. My 4 surgeries went perfectly and I had very little pain or discomfort, only the first few nights following surgery did I have to take any pain pills. Dr. Nicholas also has other specialists in her office that do root canals, restorative & cosmetic work, etc. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a periodontist that lives in the Palm Springs or Palm Desert area. more
