If Annabelle's had management issues 3 1/2 years ago (late 2006 by others' reviews), those issues have been resolved completely. I made a reservation for one on a Saturday night ...

Took a group of 9 out to Annabelles on a Sunday night. Didn't start to well when we stood at the entrance wondering if we were at the correct entrance while staff did not acknowle...

A very nice experience! 3/23/2006

So Annabelles, a very good romantic experience. the lighting was just perfect for me and my fiancee giving that intimate feel to each dining table, the service is a plus, and many little details place here and there, the wine selection it's almost perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant to everybody that wants to have a real dining romantic experience. more

Annabelle's you must try! 3/23/2006

My husband and I went in at Annablle's for dinner and it was great. LOVE the new look and LOVE the food. The steak was the best I ever had. Gave a piece to my husband to try. He loved the steak that we trade dishes. I had his pasta that was just as great too. Starters to Desert was all wonderful. more

A place for all occasion! 3/23/2006

I highly recommend this restaurant in the heart of downtown. Food is exquisite and the service is absolutely great!!! I love the ambiance and the décor is tastefully done. If you want to spend every occasion worth your while, this is the place to go. Pros: Fresh food, Inexpensive, Clean Cons: Pay parking more

Romantic and Wonderful! 3/21/2006

My husband loves this restaurant because it is one of the few places that is fancy enough to qualify as a romantic dinner yet he always gets enough food to fill him up! This has been a favorite of ours for a while but recently they did a renovation and its even more wonderful! They now have a rotisserie in the back and a brick oven too! We tried the duck confit brick oven pizza and were in heaven! I noticed that other reviews worried about parking but there is a huge parking garage 1/2 block away at 4th and Mission... that is where we always park. Pros: ambiance, Food, Service more

Nightmare at Annabelle's 11/27/2005

Just saw this restaurant's ad and I had to share this one. My boyfrined and I had a Valentine's dinner here back in February (2005). It was like your nightmare came true. The waiter we had was extremely slow in every aspect you can possibly imagine: 20 min wait for getting order, 15 min wait for the wine, 30 min wait for the first course, 45 min wait for the entree. When the entree finally came out, it was cold as if it was sitting in the kitchen for at least 30 min. It was so ridiculous that we decided to leave. I went up to the hostess to complain (couldn't find the waiter!) and she did comp our dinner. It was so bad that I wasn't going to pay for it anyway. We actually witnessed two other couples left in the middle of their dinner, too. Cons: Everything more

I recently stumbled across Annabelle's Bar and Bistro while I was in San Francisco for a convention. It was busy so I figured the food must be decent. The food turned out to be great! Because downtown SF parking is usually a hassle, do some research ahead of time and provide parking lot info to your guesses will ensure them a good start for your party! I was very suprised by Annabelles. I have often walked by this place on my way to work, but never thought to stop in. I am sure glad I did. My husband and I had a wonderful meal. He had the Lamb Chops and I had the Fish of the Day. The Lamb was done just right. The Fish was equally as good if not better. Our server was very friendly and told us some great facts about the historic hotel. I highly recommend checking Annabelles out. You won't be dissapointed!
