Friendly service 4/14/2006

Andronico's has been open for a long time. They offer some very friendly service, and seem open to all your questions. There prices are a bit high, and you really can find better deals elsewhere. I don't normally shop here due to the prices, but they do offer a decent meats department, and have nice clean market. more

Andronico's, okay grocery shopping 4/13/2006

There are a good number of gourmet items available at Andronico's. But for one reason or another, I am not really impressed with this grocery store. Maybe it's because I grew up going here every now and then. Maybe it's the lighting. Maybe it's the higher prices. I don't know. The people who work there are friendly enough. All I know is I only frequent there when I am in a jam or too lazy to drag myself to another supermarket. more

i really like this store because it has all the things i need. it has the freshest products and the best deli around. it is expensive but the goods are worth it. the selection is never ending and are worth it. if you are having guests over or just need some food, you should come here and find everything you need more

Visit with an open wallet. 9/9/2005

Andronico's is one of the longer lasting supermarkets in San Francisco. They offer a wide range of meats, and fish, and other market related products. They are not cheap at all, and sorta feels like a Whole Foods, however at a lower scale, and not as health oriented. The prices that your paying are at a premium, however the quality of service, and great atmosphere are top notch. I highly recommend stopping by Andronico's for your shopping needs. more

Here's a neighborhood grocery market to shop at if you want fresh fruits, meats, and vegetables. Although items tend to be priced on the high side, you can be assured that you'll be getting quality, top-notched products. Store has weekly specials which are reasonably priced. The store also has a bakery and goods are delicious and reasonably priced. Very friendly staff always available to help if needed. more

Great Selection...But You Gotta Pay 8/18/2005

Andronico's Deli and Market is one of the better supermarkets in San Francisco. Their shelves are always neatly stocked with many food items, even some hard to find imported ones. What I like best about the market is their selection of meat, fish, and deli. All of their selections are always fresh, and their produce is always superb. But, all of this outstanding food isn't light on the pocketbook. You should expect to fork over a few extra bucks,, but I think it's worth it for the quality of food that you'll be getting. You could probably skip their packages items if you're low on cash, but their meat, fish, and deli are must try. more
