*This place is not worth the time of even stopping your car. The front door is always locked even in daylight hours. Manager run around with dirty shorts and tshirts the kind you wear under your clothes. The rooms are nasty. The bed linen had old makeup on it. It also had dried blood on it. The toilet bowl had brown rings in it. The carpet was nasty. Walking outside at night just to your car you will get a contact high from all the weed being smoked at this place. I was told that these are minor things don't worry!! All I can say is run away from this place!! Be careful! more

I had to move out of temporary lodging on Shaw AFB, and most of the hotels in the Sumter area were already booked. I was delighted to find that this one was open. Unfortunately, my delight quickly turned to dismay. The room smelled so strongly of animals that it was like walking into an animal boarding kennel. The wall mirror had fallen and was just leaning against the wall. The sink counter was jacked up on 4x4s. I pulled back the blankets on the bed and saw that they were dirty and that there was what appeared to be blood stains on the mattress. I am planning to move out tomorrow and stay somewhere else. I do not recommend this hotel - not even if you're desperate. Just stay in Columbia or somewhere else a little farther away. more

After a bad experience another local hotel, I decided to stay at this hotel. There were two reasons for this. First, they allow pets (and I had two cats and one dog). Second, the prices are very cheap. We needed to find a place to stay for a month, so both factors were very important to us. The hotel is locally owned; it’s not a chain, so you won’t get any frills. But, if you want a decent room for minimal expense, you may want to consider it. more
