I went to their office last January 2011, and signed up for my bikini and under arms. I was really nervous because I've never done anything like this before. The technicians were very helpful and good at putting my nerves at ease.. I really enjoy seeing all the girls at my appointments and not to mention my amazing results. As a mother of three its so nice not to have to worry about shaving. I highly recommend this office and company. They are always upbeat, professional and friendly. more

I went to this office and not feeling that confident about myself and my skin. The staff super friendly and was very informative about the services and the skincare line. They got me set up in a great program between laser treatments and some products. This is the best I've looked and felt in ten years. All my friends want to know what I've been doing to look so magnificent. Anyhow, I give this company and staff two thumbs up! more

I enjoy the management team and staff at this location, as well as the medical directors. I received nothing short of 5 strar treatment for my initial laser hair removal treatment for lip, and I have seen dramatic results. I am also a huge fan of their nurse practitioners who administer botox. They are very professional and were willing to work out a very competitive pricing structure that other dermatologist offices could not beat. Plus, theyhave the added flexibility of being open late during the week and on weekends, which is critical as a working mother of one where every second counts. Ask for Roxanne she is the Regional Manager. more

Please do not under any circumstances go to this center. They were basically pressured me to sign a contract when all i wanted was micrdermabrasion. they they scheduled me for a botox treatment and due to the incompetence of the nurse performing the procedure I am now permanently scarred. They refused to do anything to help me and I am now spending hundreds of dollars to fix it. \r To make matters worse they still expect payment. They have destroyed my credit by reporting me to credcit agencies. I am in the process of reporting them to the BB and the attorney generals office. Have been trying to get an attorney but haven't had luck so far. May need to file lawsuite on my own. I don't understand why incompetent business's like this are allowed to remain open.\r Not sure why this site requires at least one star to be given. They deserve a negative star rating. This is hands down the worst business in my entire life that I have ever come in contact with. more

Un update to my earlier review. I've still received no contact from this company at all after I filed a claim with them about not getting any hair reduction results after over 2 years of treatments. I filed reports with the Better Business Bureau and Mass. Attorney General's Office. This company is a complete fraud. I've come to realize American Laser Center in Brighton is running the service equivalent of a Ponzi Scheme. After you put down this huge payment, often in the thousands, to protect themselves they make you sign a contract which essentially says ""This might not work."" Even though what comes out of the seller's mouth is an overly optimistic idea of what your results will be. Then they tell you the guarantee is for two years of continued treatments if it doesn't work. Throughout the two years, they cross-sell you all kinds of other services like micro-derm abrasions and other creams, products and treatments. You want to stop but now you can't because you're in too deep with all the money you've dished out so far. They know you'll rationalize sticking through it because you have too. After the 2 years is up and they've siphoned thousands from you, and you have no results to show for it, they say, ""some people get results and some people don't, as it says in the contract you signed. But thanks for all of your money. "" Stay away!!!! Tell anyone you know that inquiries about them and seek retribution if you've been a victim. This is a short sited office which appears to be all about the money. Very polite at first. If you change your mind, which I did, they are completely unhelpful. Complimentary procedure ended up costing close to $100. Took numerous phone calls and letters to resolve issue. I have many medical encounters but this was a unique and unusual experience for me in the medical community. Don't let the fast talking fool you, get the services first before you make payment. I went for a consultation at the Brighton location. At first they seemed friendly enough, and then the lady has you go into a little room on the side. Right away she started trying to sell, sell, sell. I felt very pressured into buying something and she kept saying ""This special will only be good for today. Once you walk out that door you will not be able to get it for this cheap."" (If you consider $500 cheap, especially since it's only for a few microdermabraision sessions) I agreed to do a payment plan but felt wrong about it the next day so I decided to cancel the whole thing. Funny how they're so nice to you when they think they're getting money off you but so extremely rude and disrespectful when they're not. I should have known cause she started to get mean when I said ""I don't think so. Maybe I'll think about it."" which is when she used that whole ""this special is only good for today"" thing. Anyway, I wouldn't go there even if you're just curious cause you'll walk out spending more than you planned on. Try a smaller business instead of a chain!! Pros: I didn't see any but I'm sure they get rid of hair just like any other hair removal place. Cons: Expensive, Not Nice, Pushy, Just Want Your Money more

I recently transferred to the Grosse Pointe Location, from another location. The service was amazing compared to the previous location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The treatments are performed thoroughly and with precision, and it seems as though they really care. I am finally starting to see results with my treatments and I am now very happy and pleased with this company and I definitely recommend this location to all. more
