American Laser Center - Ballentyne (Charlotte)

I have very dark hair. After many treatments, I see ABSOLUTELY NO REDUCTION. I went to another laser center and have had AMAZING RESULTS...nearly 95% of active hair follicles killed in just ONE TREATMENT!!!! DON'T WAIST YOUR TIME AND MONEY AT AMERICAN LASER CENTER!!!! Report them to FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION!!! more

I've been going for 2.5 years for hair removal to bikini, underarm and legs, never missing an appt. Paid $4889 for services that are NOT working. I've been trying for over a year now to try to get a refund and to see a doctor affiliated with this company, but have been denied. They certainly know how to circumvent all requests by sending you in circles. I just found our today that Dr. Sean Freeman is the doctor affiliated with ALC in Charlotte, according to Kathy Walsh, Region Manager. According to the Dept of Justice and the Register of Deeds office, they do NOT have a license to operate in Charlotte. The NC Medical Board is investigating them because they won't help you to see a doctor should you have medical concerns, as instructed within the NCMB Position Statement. Also, they share personal and confidential information about you with other patients. They laughed about a cross-dresser who was visiting while I was there and share all sorts of personal info about his with me. Unbelievable! DO NOT GO THERE!!! more

I was rather hesitant in choosing this company after reading a few reviews. However, it was close to home and I had a friend that had referred me. So glad that I went! I have had an amazing experience and the staff there could not be more hospitable. I am very happy with my results and recently signed up for more. Great experience 20 minutes every month! more

I saw on the Rachel Ray show how Robin McGraw uses a laser to tighten her face instead of having a face lift. She looks wonderful so I decided to do some research on this procedure. I found that the refirme laser is used at American Laser Center and they have a location close to me. I went in for a free consultation at the Birkdale Village location and after seeing the pictures and videos that they have I decided to try to procedure. I had my first treatment done yesterday and I am absolutley amazed at the difference one treatment made. Half way through the treatment they sat me up in the chair and had me look in the mirror. The results are immediate I could see a big difference in the side of my face that they treated. I am very happy with my decison to try a non invasive procedure. I would recommend this place to any of my friends! My experience there was nothing but great! I started going to American Laser Centers two years ago. I purchased a package of six treatments for my under arms. I havn't shaved them in a year! I found the staff to be very professonal and highly trained. I have done waxing and electrolysis. My hair came back and it was painful. THIS IS THE ONLY THING THAT HAS WORKED! I highly recommend this palce for anyone that is sickof waxing,tweezing,shaving or unwanted hair. more

If you have poor credit or can't afford the treatments after you fall for the ""$300 winner!"" bait and switch scam, you are a ""waste of time"". The $300 is off of a huge package, priced solely by what you LOOK LIKE YOU CAN AFFORD and how late in the month it is. They pull patient charts and call them every month, harrassing them to buy more! more

AT EACH CENTER, I WAS GIVEN A DIFFERENT PRICE FOR THE EXACT SAME SERVICE/ BODY PART.
