Rich in history 8/7/2005

Kansas City is all about Jazz. So many famous Jazz players originate from Kansas City why not have an American Jazz Museum here. This is a really interesting place to check out. You will learn the history behind Jazz around the world and in the KC area and they also tell you about some of the greats that got Jazz started. After your trip through the museum stop by one of the Jazz Nightclubs and get an actual feel for what it was like back in the day. more

The Baseball Museum is better 7/27/2005

I went to the American Jazz Museum after I went to the Negro League Baseball Museum one day. I can say that I liked the baseball one much better, but I am a huge sports fan so I may be biased. The American Jazz Museum was interesting, and pretty fun. It probably would have gotten four stars if it weren’t next to a five star baseball museum. If you have time I would go to both museums, but the baseball one is better. 3 Stars. more
