I went to Amanda's Bridal to look for my wedding gown. It was such a laid back experience without worrying about my time being up. I loved how helpful the ladies were and how well they listened to what I was looking for. They didn't try to push me over budget and were very helpful. I would recommend Amanda's! Both of my cousins got there wedding dresses here and now that i'm engaged I know exactly where to go. Tobie has helped my family through two weddings already. I've been to Amanda's both as a bridesmaid, then as a bride. Every time I've been there, the staff have been friendly and helpful, even when they're busy. The first time I went there to try on wedding dresses, we walked in the store 30 minutes before closing, but Tobie still helped me try on several dresses. It took me a long time to decide on a dress - I made 3 different trips to the store, and each time, Tobie was very patient and honest with me. I never felt rushed or pressured, and I ended up with a dress that I love! The vibe is relaxed - my friends and I picked out some dresses, and once I started trying them on and had a better idea of what I wanted, Tobie pulled a couple for me, once of which was the one I ended up getting! They have a great selection of dresses (in my opinion) - I was looking for something a little more informal, and I felt like I had several great options at Amanda's. They really made my dress-buying experience a great one. more

Great Service and Convienent!\r I didn't have an appointment but walked in was helped immediatly. Jacquelyn was incredibly helpful. She showed me many different dresses and gave her honest opinion. I found my dress in the first three I tried on but she kept giving me more options at my request. She helped me find the right sizes and talked about all my different options. In the end she told me I ""glowed"" in my dress and I was the most excited about it, so that made my decision easy. I have been to the store many times since I picked my dress to show other family members and look at mother's dresses and bride's maid dresses. Jacquelyn remembers my name each time I walk in and is always helpful and full of information. The store is set up nice and makes things easy to find. It is very personable and I don't feel like I am walking into a huge warehouse. I also really appreciate that I can walk in anytime without an appointment and I will be helped. I signed up for Citysearch just so that I could write a review for Amanda's to share how wonderful it is! My wedding is coming up next year and I had no idea where to go or how to shop for a wedding dress - I ended up at Amanda's because one of my friends got her bridesmaids dresses there. All of the dresses were very reasonably priced - none of this $10,000 dollar nonsense. I am a seamstress myself and was considering different options for altering dresses, but Leah - my down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and no-pressure consultant - helped me find a dress that the designer would alter to fit the image I had designed. I'm ending up with a one-of-a-kind, beautiful dress that I absolutely love (I couldn't help bouncing around the room when I put it on)! I also had a wonderful family experience while shopping. Because Leah was so personable and helpful, she helped to ease some of the stresses that inevitably come with shopping for a wedding dress, which allowed everyone in my family to really enjoy themselves while we looked. I would try on a dress and say: okay, I like this about it and don't really like that. Leah would think for a minute, then run off to find another several that suited the new modifications. She really helped me hone in on what exactly it was that I was looking for, and in the end, I found exactly what I was hoping for. I would definitely recommend Amanda's to anyone searching for a wedding dress. The staff, prices, and atmosphere are wonderful, and I am really grateful for their help in my process! more

I don't ever write reviews, but my experience here was amazing! I couldn't even believe that almost every dress was in my budget, which I didn't expect. The consultant, Tobie, was fantastic! And she was so helpful. She helped me find dresses that really flatter my figure and wasn't overwhelmed by all my family that came. I would recommend this shop to anyone:) more

I have tried bridal gowns on in a few places and this was by far the best experience. The staff is professional, efficient and knowledgeable without being pushy or annoying. My consultant Sherri was absolutely awesome. She knew what she was doing, and was there when I needed her without ever making me feel rushed or uncomfortable. She went out of her way to be helpful, and honestly I left there with a better idea of where my wedding is headed than when I walked in. I highly recommend this store. more

I never usually write reviews, but the experience I had at Amanda's was AMAZING!! My mom and I went in looking for my wedding dress, and we were treated like royalty. When we first walked in we were greeted by a very cheerful woman her name was Sherry. Turns out she was going to be my bridal consultant. Sherry was full of honest opinions and knowledge when it came to wedding gown shopping. She was so helpful and she went beyond the extra mile to find me the perfect dress for my special day!!! She included my mom in the adventure as well and made us both feel right at home. I would recommend this store to anyone, you will leave there with a smile on your face! more

I'm getting married next year and went to several Bridal stores recently. I went with a few friends to Amanda's and loved that yu don't need an appointment. We found the best dresses and prices there. The service was really good too. The consultant was really good at suggesting styles. On weekends you may have to wait for a fitting room and consultant but well worth the wait. more

I'm sort of flabbergasted by all the negative reviews here. I first went to Amanda's Bridal on a friend's recommendation (she bought her wedding gown there). We were helped immediately, and I really liked my consultant, Mallory. After about 5 dresses of what I came in looking for, Mallory suggested I try on something a bit different than my initial requirements. And man - she was spot on, I fell in love! I didn't feel like I could buy the 6th dress I tried on, so I went to a David's Bridal a week later. I did not like any of their selection, the service was meh, and it was a bit chaotic and cramped. I went back to Amanda's and bought the dress I fell in love with. They worked with me to get the custom alterations I wanted (no train) and get it within my limited time frame. And still the price was a great deal compared to a lot of bridal salons in the area. My alterations appointments went smoothly, and the dress fit me perfectly. I highly recommend Amanda's Bridal. The gowns are up to $1200, which works with many a (normal) bride's budget. And they have been very friendly. I had a bridezilla moment when I didn't know what heigh of heel to get, and several people worked with me over the phone to recommend the proper hem length for me (I was thinking of wearing flats when my feet got tired). Anyway, Amanda's Bridal is great! more

I tried on 50 wedding gowns when all was said and done in at least 12 different bridal shops, and Amanda's was by far one of my favorites. If you are looking for a traditional, classic, but still a twist of fun dress this is the store I would send you to. For some very strange reason many dress places are a little stiff and unconfortable when you are trying to tell them what it is you are looking for but Nancy was such a light hearted sweetie! I would make a point to ask for her. Added bonus was the dressing rooms are awesome. They are huge! more

I wish I would have read these reviews before calling - the are completely on point. I haven't even been in yet, but I the phone was answered by some crabby chick who made it clear that they were too busy, that I shouldn't waste my time coming in on the weekend. And snapped a me about 'not making any promises' about getting me in when I asked for a rough estimate about how much time I need to give myself since they were ""sooo busy"". At the end of the call, she got super snippy and in a rude, b!tchy, sarcastic tone said ""You have a GREAT day."" Wow - awesome customer service. I was just going to try on a bridesmaid dress but I feel sorry for any brides that have to work with those women. more

Amanda's was really nice. They helped me without an appointment. It seemed like a no frills bridal shop, down to earth, and helpful. I didn't find my dream dress there but had a good shopping experience. I would recommend adding them to your shopping list. After being in a half dozen weddings I felt like I had seen it all as far as bridal shopping went. When I finally became a Bride-to-be, I was referred by a co-worker to try Amanda's Bridal & Tux . She and her two sisters all bought their gowns there several years ago. I have to say it was the best experience ever. First, they were super easy to find at I-70 ans Wadsworth. When I arrived on a Wednesday after work, without an appointment, they happily showed me arround and assigned me a HUGE dressing room and consultant (Jan). I found several dresses that I thought I would like and Jan recommended a few more. After an hour or so, Jan said ""I have an idea, let's just try one more for FuN""...well that was it...LOVED it and it was $400 below my budget. She sure knew her stuff !! I have been back several times with all my maids and every visit has been fun. Note, it is really busy on Saturdays. My ""#1 Dude"" also got his Tux at a great discount . We visited on a Sunday right as they opened and were immediately greeted and assigned to a representative named Dea. She gave a us a tour and let us know which room we were to use. Through out our time there Dea was very helpful and selected gowns that were fitting to my vision. They have some beautiful gown in a variety of sizes. This latter is nice because being of a skinny athletic build there wasn't as much clipping that needed to be done. A couple days latter I received a post card from the shop with a hand written note from Dea. A very nice touch. Although I didn't find 'the gown' here there were several on my list of possibilities. The service, selection and prices make this a worthwhile visit. Pros: good service, loads of parking, good selection more

My experience was absolutely wonderful. My consultant was nothing but helpful to me, with a smile every time, her assistance was greatly appreciated. The fact there were no appointments made it easier and more flexible. Everytime I was in the store while shopping for my wedding it was very busy. Everyone was getting helped and looked satisfied. It is a wonderful family owned bridal store and the the service is very good and not like corporate stores when they want you in and out as quickly as possible. Amanda's takes time for your needs and certainly helps you find the right dress for you.\r Although we had to wait for a dressing room once or twice they were worth it because of how large they were. Their bride dressing rooms are enormous, bigger than any other bridal store I've been in!! Mirrors on every wall so I couldn't miss anything! There were beautiful dresses and a large variety for my gown and for my bridesmaids. \r They aren't cheap dresses in fact their gowns are made by wondeful designers, opposed to David's Bridal who doesn't carry any specific designers but make their own ""copycat"" styles. Plus the selection of tuxes! I have had more than one person say great things about Amanda's,I am shocked at any negative things said about Amanda's.. I visited Amanda's after going to a few other shops here in town. We walked around a little before someone finally said hello to us. The person who finally was assigned to help us pretty much just let us help ourselves which was crazy. I felt like the dresses that they had to offer were cheap and poorly made. But maybe I was just picking the wrong gowns since no one was there to really help direct me and give suggestions. We only stayed to try on a few items because we weren't having any fun! maybe you'll have a better experience but, they really ruined my excitment for bridal shopping the day that I went. Worst experience ever.\r This bridal shop forgot to place my simple order... twice. They took my money and then never placed the order. When the order was supposed to be in, they assured me they'd pay for rush delivery and have it on a certain date. It wasn't even ordered by THAT date either. \r When they screw up something as simple as an order for a tiara, i would not trust them with anything. Especially don't work with Sherry. I had visited several other bridal salons prior to Amanda's and was getting tired of shopping. I had yet to find anything (or anywhere) that made me feel special. Amanda's turned it all around for me. Dee is the greatest, she has great customer service and interpersonal skills. She helped me find styles and designers that I liked and felt good on. Most of their rooms are very large with their own mirrors and pedastals so you don't have to go parading around the store in a dress if you don't want to. I felt I was treated very well and got a very good price considering more expensive Denver boutiques like Bea's Bridal Nook and D'Anelli. I would not however recommend renting tuxes at Amanda's. Their selection is very limited and you can't try much of anything on. They expect you to choose everything from a book. Seems like tuxes are an afterthought and not the main focus of this salon. I wasn't sure what to expect from a bridal shop when I started searching for my wedding gown. I was very disappointed in my frist two trys at other shops. I was so happy after I went to Amanda's. I had a wonderful sales person, Alice, who was very knowledgable and listened to exactly what I was looking for. The dressing rooms were big and I didn't feel like someone was talking me into something I didn't want. She went out of her way to make sure every question was answered. The prices were very reasonable, I got a discount for buying the sample dress, and 10% off my bridesmaids and jr bridesmaids dresses. I have a lot of confidence in them and it helped with my stress level. They are the best. Pros: No appointment needed more
