We have been bring our Calico since we got her as a kitten. After today, I'm not sure will be bring her again. I admit our cat does not like people and this behavior only started after we got her declawed (boyfriends/ apartments call, not mine). It seems every time we bring her for an exam the staff although friendly to me, and my partner, they act like our cat is satin. Rather then completing the exam in front of me, having me help hold and pet my cat. They wrapped her in a towel and took her into a backroom. I was left in an exam room hearing my poor baby being attack in the ""back"". After what seemed like forever Dr. Malueg return and admitted that they were able to give my cat her yearly shots (although she admitted not in the correct manner due to my cat's temperament). Then admitted she was not able to complete the exam because my cat was hissing. They then asked me to leave out the back way where they charged me for the exam. You know the exam this doctor just admitted to not completing. I was frustrated because through out the exam I express great concern for my cat behavior and how she appears to have behavioral problems around strangers. They did hand me a card for an dog trainer, but It really hurt my feeling. It's not about the money but respect. How do I know that my cats behavior is not a symptom for something else, or something we can work on. I felt like they didn't care and they just wanted my money. more

The prices are not so expensive and extremely reasonable, i trust them 100% with my pets. They take the time to help me find a solution, and they do everything possible within my budget. Of course i understand i can't always afford some treatment or surgery, but i don't blame them, it is a business like everywhere else. Only difference is that the staff at the clinic is extremely friendly and caring, there is no doubt about that. Another plus is that they often have specials or discounts on like dental which is a plus for my pocket and pets dental health. I absolutely love this clinic and the staff is amazingly nice, everyone single person working there is just great in their own way! Ask for Dr. Lund she is such a sweetheart, and knows what she is doing, well both doctors do, my pets sees both on and off but i will be seeing Dr. Lund more now!!! more

The doctors and staff are so friendly and always found a way to help me understand and to find a solution. I have no complaints on them they are excellent, but they unfortunately work for a women who doesn't care about our pets and only is interested in money! She over charges, & don't offer any kind of help with payments or something. She is rude. I was quoted a while ago $1,200 for surgery on my pet and i was willing to do it but because of money problems i was hoping i can do some kind of payment plan or something, anything, but their manager would not help me out, and she did this every time i needed help, I always paid anyways but surgery i did not do, my pet passed about. more

I recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for a Veterinary that has doctors and staff that are compassionate, nice, loving, and caring! Reception is great there two main girls there and they are so sweet, the assistants are wonderful all of them especially if you ask the Hispanic one, and the doctors are so sweet especially Dr. Lund, everyone there is so caring and always tried their best to help/assist me and my needs. Their prices are reasonable and the clinic is always so clean. I loved this Clinic! more

The doctors are extremely nice and understanding. The staff is very nice also. The place is always clean and you don't wait so long to get in, doctors are always respectful and understanding. You can tell that they really enjoy their jobs, they just love animals and care about our pets. This place is just really great, i highly reccomend this clinic to everyone! more

I love this vet clinic, the doctors are so nice and caring, you can tell right away that they love pets and care about them. They are very understanding. The whole staff is extremely nice and respectful. I highly reccomend this clinic to everyone. The prices are reasonable compared to other places, and they get really good deals. One of the best qualities of this vet clinic is its doctors! As it should be i say! The doctor I see is one of the most caring and in tune vets I have ever met. Needless to say this woman listens and chats with me about my pet and actually remembers me on my return visit! She gives my pet true care and concern. Honestly my vet is more caring and concerned about my pets well being then my own MD is with me and mine! All the doctors on staff at Alta View are great! Ask for Dr. H! though for your first visit and you will know why going anywhere else in the milwaukee area seems like just a bad idea! more
