I could not, and would not, ever recommend doing business with Als Discount Furniture in North Hollywood. Customer service at this place was non-existent. Customer satisfaction? Forget about it. \r \r They delivered a very poorly put together piece of custom-ordered furniture to me, they agreed that it was not satisfactory and needed to be replaced, they promised me they would get a replacement, and then they proceeded to do nothing to accomplish that. They were full of excuses and had a bad attitude and jerked me around for months. . Finally after SIX months I asked the owner to come and get the piece and give me a refund, and he refused. So I gave the furniture to Goodwill. Judging from all the other reviewers here that basically had the same thing happen to them, Al’s modus operandi seems to be to promise the moon, then sell you defective factory seconds, and then turn their back on you for any customer service. \r \r No, no, and again no to this place. Do not shop at this store!!! You might see a decent price here but it will cost you more in the end. ?I had problems with the sofa I purchased. The sales staff was rude and did not want to be bothered, ended up having to take the problem to upper management. Customer service is not in their vocabulary. They will not return your call, if you are lucky enough to reach them they will hang up on you. The rudest most ignorant bunch I have ever encountered. If you make the mistake of purchasing something at AL'S remember once it leaves their store it's yours and any problems you have with the item is yours as well. Additionally, warranties mean nothing here, so don't count on that either. ?The excellent service comment I see here only applies if you have your checkbook or credit card out and are making a purchase.
